Junior’s eyes fluttered open. “Come on, let’s say hi to your aunt.” Jojo picked up Junior and brought him closer to the video screen.
“Oooh. He’s so cute. His hair is so blond! I can’t wait to hold him when I visit.”
“After your baby girl is born. And by then you might be holding another one.”
“What?” Jizelle yelped. “What do you mean?”
“Our surrogate is pregnant again.”
“The same one?”
“Yes.”
“I don’t understand California surrogacy laws, but I don’t care,” Jizelle said, clapping her hands. “So what is the politically correct term as to who the…donor is?”
“I’m the donor. Adam was the donor for Adam Junior.”
“Girl or boy?”
“She’s six months now, so I can safely say from the tests, it’s going to be a boy.”
“Please don’t name him Jojo.”
Jojo shook his head. “Trust me I’m not. We’re actually thinking of Seth.”
