Chapter 36: The Eclipse

Jorge, picking up his fork, "Why don't we begin eating? We can do more of the introduction while eating." He said and they both agreed.

Picking up their different forks, they began eating. "I don't still understand how you got to know my name." Selena said as she began eating.

"Jorge mentioned you, and when I saw him with a woman, I assumed it was you," Eva said, the lie rolling off her tongue easily.

Selena knew something wasn't quite right, but she couldn't put her finger on it. There was something about the way Eva spoke, something that felt off, but she couldn't place her hand on it. And the idea that Jorge had spoken about her to this woman made her uneasy. Why would he do that?

Selena looked to Jorge for confirmation, and he nodded with a knowing smile. Selena was curious about what Jorge had told Eva about her, but she decided to set that curiosity aside for now and focus on the meal in front of her.
