Mona nibbled on a taco while Laura scooped up Pozole de Pollo o Guajolote. They both glanced in amazement at Daphne Tjia, who was devouring pickled cucumbers in a glass jar. It's lunchtime. Are you full of eating sour food?
"Your behavior reminded me of my Aunt Alicia when I was young," Laura pointed out, suddenly referring to her father's younger sister, who had married last year and was expecting a child.

Daphne Tjia skewered a piece of dill pickle. He needed those vegetables to settle his battlefield-like stomach.
