Hamid helped Matthew Tjia put Daphne Tjia's clothes into a suitcase while the woman was still enjoying her sandwich. Before entering the hospital, Daphne Tjia had no appetite. So when his daughter seemed to be enjoying her lunch, Matthew Tjia just let it go.
"Today you may go home, young lady," said Matthew Tjia.
"Wow, finally!" Laura cheered.
"You can go to college again, Daphne Tjia," commented Mona.
Daphne Tjia did not respond. He lost the spirit to do anything including college. Now he even thinks that the major he chose is unattractive.
