I recognize them.

"That's all." Frank ended the story. "I have told you all the background of the kid. I have a request."

The Goddess only smiled and asked him, "What do you want?"

"I wanted to take the kid's corpse with me," replied Frank with a stern expression.

"What do you want to do with it?" The Goddess's interest was piqued.

"I will revive the kid."

"How? His soul both physically and spiritually vanished." The Goddess tilted his head, feeling curious.

"I know." Frank sighed. "But I have to!"

Frank was firmed on his decision. Whether he succeeded or not, given the small frame of time, the result depended on his life. He was nearing his 60s and wanted to retire as a life of an awakener and live a leisurely life far away from the concern of society.

It was because he had kept something that the greedy people coveted, and he had to protect it. Furthermore, he made an agreement between himself and the government unless the latter had decided to make a call that the deal was no more. He could not have a leisurely life while protecting the object that other people desired.

"How could…"

The Goddess wanted to further interrogate him with another question as to how the man in front of him could revive a deceased person. When her vision caught a glimpse of a transparent, smoke figure akin to the outline of the kid below him, levitating slowly in a parallel position and disappearing into Draven's body.

The Goddess's eyes widened as he caught Draven's finger moving slightly.

'This kid…' She thought. 'This kid's soul returned?'

He was flabbergasted at the thought of this, and her bizarre reaction was caught by attentive eyes of Frank. Frank looked to where the Goddess gazed, and it was on Draven's body. The latter stopped moving after its finger moved slightly, and thus Frank did not notice it.

If he could, then he might have been jumping and cheering so that he could still live a leisurely life.

'What is she planning to do?'

Frank wondered as he saw the Goddess hopping over the ground from the truck's head, as her dress gently fluttered as she landed akin to an immortal descending in the mortal world.

The Goddess flicked her fingers, and a sudden gush of winds cleared out all the obstacles, which made Draven's corpse the only thing visible beside the Goddess. The Goddess scrutinized Draven meticulously, and Frank could not help but as well watch Draven for no apparent reason.

"Interesting," said Goddess out of the blue.

Frank's brows furrowed. 'What is she talking about?' He wondered as he tried to determine how interesting Draven's corpse was.

Suddenly, Goddess gracefully rotated and faced Draven with an ambiguous smile.

"Leave the matter to me. I will revive him," said the Goddess.

"Really?" Frank's eyes lit up.

The Goddess gave him a vague smile, and Frank could not help but feel suspicious. 'It's no harm letting her do whatever she wants on Draven's body. It's not like I can do anything to prevent it anyway.'

Frank shrugged as he continued to wonder. 'Who knows? Maybe she can actually revive that kid.'

As Frank was lost in his thought. The Goddess had been watching Draven's corpse with her eyes glowing with milky white as if her eyes could not escape even the unknown.

'Interesting. The soul that emerged on his body is his. However, his physical soul did not, only his spiritual soul. It appeared that his spiritual soul was taken over by others who blessed him and had a chance to be resurrected.' The Goddess wondered when suddenly her eyes lit up.

"Isn't your race a mortal?" The Goddess asked, her tone pleasing and enticing in the ears. "How come you have the power that surpasses the limit of the mortals?"

"We are indeed mortal or whatnot," Frank answered.

He actually did not know what the standard of the mortal was, but he knew what a mortal was. Probably, a race that had no supernatural power.

Frank continued, "But it was before since we have received the blessings from the existence is known "Path". No one knows where it came from, but this was the reason why we managed to reclaim our position at the Peak of the Food chain when Dimensional Portal, and you the Dimensional monsters arrived."

The Goddess ignored Frank's critics, and focused more on what he said, "Path".

"The Path…" The Goddess murmured.

"I see. I recognize them."

The Goddess finally realized what "The Path" was. She recalled they had come once to have her permission at replicating her powers for the reason they wanted to build a Heritance. They explained that they would create a Trial in which every stage or phase a participant passed. They would receive a portion of her powers through "blessings."

The Goddess gave an obscure reply, but the Path took it as a yes. However, the Goddess could not bother to argue with them since she wanted to sleep at that time. She did not want to fight with them either since she felt it was only an inconvenience for her.

She only wanted a single moment "Sleep!" Thus she ignored them and was not even aware of what was happening on the earth. After all, the moon and the Earth was neighbor to each other, and she could watch what the life of the mortals on the Earth was like.

However, she grew bored when she watched them having the same life for the next decades, but it does not mean they did not evolve either. After all, that was the only thing that makes her interest lengthen before she decided to sleep.

"What Path did you receive?" The Goddess asked.

"Path of the Speed," replied Frank with no hesitation.

After all, if he activated his soul power, it was natural that they would recognize it immediately. Hence, he did not hesitate to reveal it since the Goddess might have a slight idea about it.

"Do you know the stages of the Path?" The Goddess asked.

Frank Edison answered immediately what he knew.

"That is indeed similar to our system." The Goddess nodded her head elegantly.

"Enough talking." The Goddess took a peek at Draven's body and noticed that his spiritual body completely synchronized with his actual body.
