Elliot

"I see," replied Aiden

However, Elliot gazed at his fist, reddened by the strong clench. Veins popped out, and Elliot could feel the boiling anger Aiden was hiding. Elliot shook his head, appearing like it was none of his concern.

However, he did not notice his fist was clutching, similar to Aiden's. He was more enraged for Draven to dare act toward his Boss's love interest. Furthermore, Elliot had been hiding his displeasure from Draven, for he was envious Draven was more talented than him when it came to Academics.

If he had only met the requirements of his Path and awakened after completing the Trial. He could have not bothered trying to improve in Academics to apply for his shortcoming. Not only the most important education branch in Academics was Physical Education toe to toe with Mathematics and Sciences.

Physical Education had been focusing more on combat and martial arts. Since each people's Path was unknown, and not all of them had a flawless path. Or rather, almost impossible for a person to awaken a Path that was invincible. Even the Greatest Human who brought humankind to the limelight might be invincible to battle, but it did not mean he excelled at every aspect.

A little trick here and there could fool him, and an opening chance would arrive, and a Beast or even Human could end his life. Hence, it was important to excel in Physical Education mainly for those students who had empty on their backgrounds.

However, not only Elliot was overshadowed by Aiden and Isabella's physical fitness and combat ability. For some strange reason, Draven who had an empty background could fight toe to toe with him. Despite this, Draven was a study freak type of person. While he had been spoiled by consuming physical boosters since he was a child, thus was maddened that he could not defeat Draven.

If it was not because Aiden had been warning him not to touch Draven, he might have become impulsive and beaten Draven with his wealth.

"What do you think about this? Do you really believe Draven could have done that to her?" Aiden asked.

He was still skeptical about the rumor spreading to their institution. What if Draven was framed? Although, on the surface, he had a love interest in Isabella. It was because his father desired for him to pursue her. Hence, he did not have a choice but to back down and thus proclaim he would gain the hearts of the Goddess to others.

However, it was a slap for him and his reputation, and if his father knew Isabella got physically abused him. Not only his father would enrage, but Isabella's family behind her would also be angered as well. Hence, he had to clear the misunderstanding happening since there was no reason to back up Isabella unless it was a useless, fabricated rumor.

Hearing his Question, Elliot was in disbelief. Why did he not believe easily and was still having doubts if it was true or not? Elliot wondered.

He had followed Aiden for years already, and the adoration and admiration he had towards Aiden was not fake and continued to increase as time passed. For Aiden to concern himself and bother himself with a useless peasant should not have happened.

"What do you mean, Aiden?" Elliot got up from his seat. "What else would be the reason why he had done that? Maybe he gave up on his future and committed such a vile act. He was no kid either, for it was normal for a man to get tempted by Isabella's look. You should know Isabella has not been crowned Goddess in the school for no reason!"

He could not control his escalating voice, and Aiden did not mind it. Aiden decided, after thinking about it thoroughly, he should still continue investigating if the rumor was true. He needed to settle this as better as he could before it reached the ears of his Father and Isabella's family behind her back.

"Leave."

Aiden got up from his seat and walked toward the Bathroom. He needed to clean himself before going to school. However, Elliot hesitated because he knew his boss was still having doubts and might not make a move to Draven later on. Hence, he decided to prove it later once Draven came to school.

"Although Draven had done something to my reputation. I can't let this rumor reach Master." Aiden shook his head as he placed his hand on the wall in front of him. While letting the shower hit him like a rain of bullets, causing his whole body to soak from the constant run of water.

"I really don't know what Master is thinking."

"Tsk!"

Elliot grumbled as he finally left the huge apartment behind him. It was grandiose tall and composed of many employees and guards with dignified and humble expressions. They entertained each people, leaving and entering the apartment, as they does not even mind when they were ignoring them and talked without landing their gaze on them.

It was kind of humiliating if a person who had quite a background worked here. However, it was a given for an employee to be humble and neat at all times. Of course, they needed to have those characteristics, and only through the training from the job could only make they be worth applying for it.

Once Elliot reaches for his car, with a single movement of his hand. The key he clutched glowed and made a sound. The imposing aesthetic car responded as it vroomed with its front lights blasted off a pair of yellow lights, causing the dim underground park blinded with lights.

Elliot stood before his car and moved to open the door, as he sat on the Driver's seat as if it made him comfortable and relaxing. However, Elliot's feeling was far from that, as he was annoyed by what happened earlier.

"Aiden had been keen and always looked at the wider perspective. However, he was not that different from the usual young master of a prestigious family. His father was the mayor of the District city, and even though his father did not have much authority over Zeka high school. It did not mean the principal could have to bother himself for an ordinary student out of many students either."

Elliot clutched his steering wheel and pushed the key to the keyhole.

"Furthermore, Aiden could have taught Draven a lesson without receiving that much trouble. After all, the principal was his Master, together with Isabella. Why was he appeared to be afraid of making move to Draven?"

As Elliot continued to contemplate it, it was interrupted. His phone rang, and he felt the vibrations through his thigh. He frowned while he took the phone out of his pocket and read the caller through the screen.

The cellphone was different from what Frank used when it generated a hologram. The cellphone Elliot used was similar to the modern times, but it was enhanced for its storage contained 3 terabytes, and the ram was 100 gigabytes. It was faster than anything else, and it did not even freeze momentarily the moment Elliot opened the phone.

It opened in a fashioned manner, as the name of the caller was then displayed.

"Erick?"

Elliot answered the call, and the frown face was then replaced with a sinister smile.
