Did I become an Undead?

"Where am I?" Draven muttered.

He slowly opened his eyes and was greeted by the sight of a woman's head which was half concealed by her ample breast. Draven was not the type of person who enjoyed watching this scene. However, he could not control his eyes glued to the Goddess's chest.

"Finally woke up?!" The Goddess scoffed before she kicked him again.

Draven groaned in pain, but it was nothing but a pitiful act. After all, how much pain he experienced on the Special Trial was still etched deep inside his mind. How could it be compared to the light kick that the Goddess performed?

Draven sat up and immediately looked around. He noticed on the surrounding area, appeared to be cleaned as if someone had cleaned it. Meanwhile, in the further distance was debris, corpses, carcasses, and broken infrastructures piled up one another.

However, he could not see more than that, as a milky white wall seemed to completely block him from seeing outside. Draven, as he swept his eyes, noticed a late middle-aged man lying on the ground as if he was sleeping.

Draven did not recognize him, but still, he feels that the man was familiar. Draven then placed his attention on the Goddess who stood in front of him, with her arm atop her ample breasts. The Goddess noticed where Draven was looking and could not be more bothered about it.

"Since you are now awake, care to tell-"

Argh!

The Goddess wanted to ask what path Draven awakened but was stopped by the abrupt thunderous roar that burst out from Draven's mouth. She immediately gazed at Draven, which appeared to be in torment, as she saw Draven's body covered with Blue flames.

It was so sudden that the Goddess could not react. She tried to control the Moon's essence, created by her Moonlight vigil technique, to understand Draven's sudden happening of his body. However, alas, what she only knew was that Draven was suffering from the soul, not from his Physical soul.

The Goddess could not do anything about it, but when she sensed Draven's vitality was declining at a rapid pace, she did not hesitate to enforce more of Moon's essence.

"What is happening to his body?" The Goddess tilted her head. She was more curious than concerned. "The sudden torment he experienced came from his soul, yet his physical soul is the affected as it continued to seep away."

The Physical Soul, or in other words, the Earth commonly described – the vitality. Vitality is what makes humans assess their energy or liveliness. Furthermore, without vitality, it was natural for that person to die. Therefore, if Draven's vitality was entirely consumed, then he would die for real.

"The Moonlight Vigil is still here, reinforcing his body vitality." The Goddess shook her head. "However, it appeared that it can not keep up, as his physical soul is exhausting at an astonishing rate."

As time passed, Draven's previously healthy body filled with vigor was now changing, as his muscles loosened, causing him to become thinner. His face almost made his skull visible, while his skin, which became red from the lively blood in his veins, turned pale and white.

It did not long before Draven's muscles and skin seeped away as his insides and his bones were exposed. It was a gruesome sight, nonetheless. However, the Goddess watched his body altering without a change in her facial expression.

She watched with an indifferent gaze while her eyes flashed an interest inside.

Draven's voice eventually became hoarse and disappeared afterward when his voice box faded alongside his insides; the kidney, the heart, and other organs existed in his body. What remained on him was a skeletal framework, and appeared it would not seep away, unlike on his other body parts.

"A small blue flame?" The Goddess's eyebrow arc upward.

She noticed that at the center of the skeletal framework of Draven, a small but raging Blue Flame similar to the Blue Flame, which was currently raging and covering Draven's body. That small Blue Flame, the size of a wisp of light and might be the reason why Draven's physical soul faded away.

Furthermore, the Blue Flame shielded Draven's body, the intensity was not that high compared to the small wisp of Blue Flame. If the Goddess was confident that she could even bask her jade-like hand on the Blue Flame that raged on Draven's body, she was convinced it would not affect her.

However, if she touched the little wisp of Blue Flame, she was no doubt her hand would eventually be burned.

"Isn't that…" The Goddess's eyes widened as she continued to scrutinize the little Blue Flame. "Isn't that the Flame of the Legendary Supreme Lich king in the underworld?!"

After she stated her statements. The Ice Blue Flame that engulfed Draven's body into a skeleton slowly faded away, but the little Blue Flame continued raging at the Heart area of Draven's body. It stood there obediently, as Draven's relentlessly moving body halted alongside his mouth.

He lay on the ground lifelessly as the Goddess continued to watch the changes in Draven's body.

"He became a skeleton, nothing else." The Goddess concluded before she placed her attention on the little Blue Flame once more. "What a pity! A seed of the legendary Blue Flame is wasted to a mortal."

She shook her head and tried to dismiss the dejected thought in her head before she decided to wake Draven with her leg. Kick! Draven hollowed empty pair of eye sockets, and a violent Blue Flame emerged all of a sudden as if indicating that Draven was awake.

Draven's skeletal mouth constantly opened and closed as if he was speaking to the Goddess. The latter, however, did not hear a single damn thing and was immediately annoyed.

She told him he had no voice and should look at his body. However, Draven only tilted his head as if he was likewise could not hear a single damn thing about what the Goddess currently saying.

The Goddess felt her blood boiling and thus used her fair milky white hands to grab Draven's skull head with open palms and slid it downward. It was then Draven noticed the change in his body, and his skull mouth immediately opened wide ninety degrees.

It was really scary for a citizen to witness this sight, and might think that Draven wanted to eat them. However, Draven's feeling was far from that, as he was completely horrified by his skeletal body. It was then that he realized why he could not hear what the Goddess was saying, and why the Goddess acted like he could not hear him.

How could a skeleton speak and hear when his physical senses disappeared?

"What happens to me?!"

"Did I become an undead?"

"…"

Draven opened his mouth wide and could not accept what happened to him, and thus wanted to ask the Goddess herself. However, how could the Goddess answer his question? When she did not know what the single damn thing he said? However, the Goddess was sensible and knew what Draven wanted to know.

She pointed at his heart, and Draven did not need to put more effort into bending his skeletal neck and saw the little Blue Flame resting on his heart as if it replaced his actual heart.
