As Libby listened to James's explanation, she was surprised. She stared at him in a daze.
In the past, James never said anything that was unnecessary to her. Now, for Kara, not only did he thank her, he said the same thing, like asking her to take care of Kara over and over again.
Looking at the naive Kara, she couldn't help but think that this silly girl was blessed.
Kara was unhappy when he heard his words.
"James, don't slander me. I didn't make Libby worry. I am very obedient."
James glanced at her indifferently. He covered her eyes with his big hand and sneered.
"You are the one who lies with your eyes open. You are still obedient. That is the funniest joke I have ever heard!"
Kara felt guilty for a few seconds. She puffed her cheeks, shook off his big hand, and mischievously snuggled in his arms.
"Don't act like a spoiled child. Sit properly!"
Seeing that she was acting like a spoiled child again, James threw her onto the sofa like a parent teaching a child a lesson.
