As silent as a mouse

"What a suspicious mind you have, Charm," Miguel said, "it's really quite the opposite. Should you choose to become his partner you'll be working alongside him as an equal, nothing more. None of his parlor tricks like mind control, confusion spells, invisibility spells or anything along that nature will work on you."

Charm was kind of catching on now, "understood."

"As a fellow spirit warrior even without being someone's partner there are still ways to combat these spells that are designed to warp the senses. That's why you are here to undergo training at Isla Serpiente Academy."

Genesis voice was filled with promise, "By the time I'm finished with Charm she will be a lethal killing machine." 

Charm laughed, "does that mean soon I will be able to destroy you both in combat training."

"Keep dreaming," said Miguel.

While Genesis just rolled his eyes.
