When I say “devil,” I don’t mean it in a spiritual sense, but rather a human with the characteristics of a devil. A person capable of lying to himself until his mind believes it to be the truth. Someone who views the world with disdain and wouldn’t care if it disappeared in the next second. On the planet Ablauf, where the extraordinary has become mundane, abilities both grand and trivial are woven into the fabric of existence. like turning into an insect, to the all powerful like reversing time, mind control, and turning illusion into reality. Ablauf Bible

A month came and went. By the end of that short time, snow could be seen falling in Avondale City. It was a backwater city and less developed than others.

However, thanks to its vast space, it looked more like a suburb, as the residential buildings were far apart from each other.

A large river flowed through the heart of Avondale City, splitting it into Avondale North and Avondale South. Now, the Hope River was frozen, allowing people to walk across it, as the experience was more thrilling than walking on Hope Bridge.

To the south of the river stood a nearly endless campus, covering an area of about 9 square kilometers at most. Inside the towering walls that allowed everyone outside to see the rooftops was the prestigious Passion University.

This university was built during the time of the first sovereign of Ablauf. It was established to encourage youths to pursue goals other than violence, such as joining the World Government or becoming adventurers.

In the early years, high-ranking nobles tried to shut it down, but after realizing that education is the key to success, they stopped resisting, as many of their family strategists would emerge from this university.

Following this, many universities and colleges were built in the southern continent; however, all of them failed to reach the level of Passion University.

Due to the Galactic Prison bursting into flames, enrollment at Passion University skyrocketed by 123%. The military and noble knights turned a blind eye to the influx of otherworlders coming into Ablauf.

Many of these individuals pursued education at the university, most of them seeking shelter to lay low for a while before heading to the Supreme Road.

All of them were students, and only a few managed to disguise themselves as a university staff, among them was a couple.

That was the best description for them, and even after a month of going out, the only thing they did was eat together. They couldn't even hold hands!

It was not because they were all men, but because they knew the truth about each other. They were intelligent individuals, and all of them wanted to use each other for personal gain.

One of the couple, Tom Chris, stood in front of a lecture room, imparting wisdom to the next generation.

His golden eyes, hidden behind reading glasses, scanned the ascending benches surrounding the room, and a soft sigh escaped his lips.

Sigh...

There weren't any vacant spots, and for everyone to fit, they sat in groups of five instead of the regular four. Tom knew the truth about these students, and all he could do was keep it to himself, at the moment.

He needs to see the fruit of his first plan to be able to do anything to the students.

"3.5% of these 312 people are the real students, and the rest are all double agents, either from the World Government or adventurers. They are the same faces I remember running into at the Galactic Prison."

"Eliminating them now would be the best course of action, but that would leave a lot of evidence, making me the prime suspect. A suspect receives no mercy, as he is no different from the one who committed the deed."

Tom understood that Ablauf was more cruel than any other place he had ever lived, yet he still didn't give up the chance to eliminate all the students listening to his lecture.

This people are going to get in his way. It is either him or them. Survival of the fittest, that is the hidden law of Ablauf.

Somebody always gets hurt; make sure it isn't you.

That said, at the moment, he had to do his job and ensure that only two people knew his true identity.

"Quiet down, everyone." Tom's words were heavy and carried a lot of elegance, captivating most of the students and making them close their mouths.

Most of them were older than he was, but he held the power, and since they didn't want to blow their cover, they had no choice but to listen to him.

"Today, we are going to narrate the first section of Matka Alles' life, or as you might call it, the Ablauf Bible."

Amazement danced across the faces of all the students. This was an important topic in Ablauf's history, and as belief holds, everyone is a descendant of Matka Alles. Not only that, but it was believed that the person who knows the Ablauf Bible is not far from discovering the position of the "Ultimate Throne."

Seeing that he had hit the nail on the head, Tom maintained his grave expression, raising his hand to stop the murmurs in the large room.

"Good. The next time you make noise, I will just walk out of the lecture room. If you make noise, it will mean that you already know what I am trying to teach."

Tom's words carried a lot of confidence, and he was sure no one would open their mouth until the end of the lecture. It wasn't that he was respected or anything, but their greed compelled the students to bow their heads to him.

If it were Earth, the students would have already started making noise just to test his confidence.

'This is going to be a long lecture. Teaching this will make me less suspicious later when people review my record,' Tom thought with a straight face, as cold wind from the open window brushed against him.

He took a seat at the only chair in front of the class, crossed his arms, and began to narrate the story:

In the very beginning, only a firmament existed where the stars shone brightly. There was neither day nor night, and only darkness enveloped the firmament.

In the midst of this firmament floated a single peach tree, aimlessly drifting in zero gravity.

For eons, the tree lived without the need for nutrients, relying solely on the bugs that came to play in the canopy of its leaves.

These were the first crystal bugs, said to wield the power of the heavens, and we now know them as the Big three.
