I settled very quickly into the family and just like I calculated, Long Yusheng did not show up. I pretended not to see them until he noticed me. I make an act of 'freezing' and making a run for it, dropping my bags by Meiyin.

"Jie-jie! How can you run in your condition! Stop! What if you trip!" I halt. This little sister was actually quite useful.

Long Yusheng was surprised. He didn't believe that he would see her again. That time when she ran away he didn't know if he should kick her out or not. When she'd left he didn't believe he should chase her if she made the decision to go by herself. He's boys kept tabs on her for him for a month but when he decided she was living okay he stopped them. He glanced at the two Nurture shopping bags that she'd dropped. It was true, she was pregnant. There had been rumours that she was pregnant but he treated it as just that, a rumour. He assumed it was another one of her schemes to lure him to her. How could he ignore her after seeing those bags and hear what that girl had said.

"Luo Huiyin! Stop right there!" He took large strides and was now facing me. His dark, steely eyes stare straight into me. He stretched his large palm to my stomach and touched the small bump.

"Huiyin! You actually dared to..." Long Yusheng was besides himself in rage. His child. She actually wanted to hide his child from him!

"Y-you! Don't touch my sister!" Luo Meiyin rushed to us and stood in front of me protectively. Mhm, I'll treat this little sister later! She's too good! She came to 'protect' me even in the face of seven scary men. Bless her!
