15 Test

Sasuke and Choji glared at each other for some time while slowly flaring more and more of their chakra as time passes. The girls were just staring in envy at Hinata because Sasuke was fighting someone for her.

Hinata would puke if she ever hears of these idiots' thoughts. Fortunately, an instructor came to the rescue and organized everyone up before briefing them on what is about to happen.

"Before we all begin, I would like to say congratulations for passing the first phase of the Elite class entrance test. For those who are confused, when you were registering yourselves, your chakra reserves have been tested and if you were allowed to come here, it means you have a large enough chakra capacity and should have the potential to at least train it to Chunin levels."

"However, don't be too happy yet because this is just a screening test to cut down the numbers of those who are trying their luck in participating in the test. The next phase after that screening test is just another physical test. You will be placed on another more complex obstacle course and you have to complete it under a time restriction. You complete the course after the time runs out then you're out."

"The next phase after that is shuriken and kunai throwing which you will be required to hit at least 5 out of 10 targets regardless of how many points you score. As long as you hit it, then that's a point."

"As for the last phase, your batch is lucky. Usually, the last phase is unannounced so it would test all of your reactions to see how you will do if you are not given enough time to prepare. For your test, Hokage-sama will be personally coming to conduct it."

After hearing that, the kids below cheered excitedly since that meant that they get to see Minato up close.

Hinata and the other clan heirs aren't really that affected but it got them curious about what might the Hokage have prepared for them.

Very quickly after announcing everything that should be announced, the tests started, and to save you all time, the rankings were dominated by the clan heirs.

Hinata took first place with no one able to match her speed. Unlike most Hyuga who only train their attacking speed, Hinata trained her overall speed. With her physical training that could only be rivaled in intensity by Lee and Guy's training, her speed was bound to be the fastest.

As for the second place, it was claimed by Sasuke which wasn't much of a surprise since the Uchiha Taijutsu style was focused a bit on speed. Although Sasuke lost in terms of brute force, he made up for it in technique.

Choji and Naruto were closely following behind. With Choji's new physique, he was also able to train his body much greater. In addition to that, he had an enlarged chakra reserve which gave him enhanced stamina. This allowed him to keep up with Naruto whose body was unnaturally strong even when his body didn't show any signs of intense training.

This interested Hinata a bit actually but in the end, it was probably just his Uzumaki lineage so Hinata didn't pay much attention.

Choji and Naruto totally looked like they were about to tie but as Choji saw Sasuke, who he deemed as his rival since he dared to lay his eyes on Hinata, he exploded fiercely and was able to propel him forward. At the last second, he was able to snatch third place. Naruto finished shortly after him.

Naruto at this moment was actually more arrogant than Sasuke. His arrogance was not the same as Sasuke's as his made him dissatisfied with the fact that someone was better than him. What's worse is that he lost a race to a fatty. Fortunately, he didn't talk like an entitled young master. Otherwise, Hinata would care if he was originally Hinata's favorite character or if he was the son of the Hokage and smack the shit out of him. He just grunted and kept silent. In his mind, he'll get back at them by beating them in a real fight.

After Naruto, Kiba soon finished the finish line, and guess what he did as soon as he arrived. Inuzuka people have a weird sense of smell where they can 'smell' the potential and strength of a person. That's how they determine who their mates would be. So as soon as he got close to Hinata, he immediately fell in love since her smell was overwhelming. Unfortunately for him, she had a guardian named Choji.

Kiba attempted to pounce on Hinata but Choji jumped in front of her. Kiba was blocked as he landed on Choji's tummy instead and was then bounced away. Hinata found this funny since she never thought she would witness this comical scene that usually happens in cartoons to actually occur in real life.

After Kiba was Shino who arrived at the finish line so quietly that they didn't notice him.

As for the 7th and 8th place, Hinata was completely speechless. That is because they were taken by two civilian nobodies. Ino at this time is still a complete fangirl of Sasuke and doesn't take her training seriously just yet. If not for Shikamaru being too lazy to compete with her, then she would've been ranked number ten. Fortunately, Shikamaru already claimed that spot in advance so she was able to get 9th place instead.

Now that Hinata looked at Ino closely, she suddenly became way more annoying than she should be because Sakura actually isn't beside her to make her look less annoying.

And speaking of Sakura, Hinata shook her head because that girl was close to being the dead last. She was like those girls from her last world who were desperate to lose weight that they barely eat until they become skinny enough. The only reason she wasn't dead last was because she wasn't the only one who was desperate to lose weight.
