Mira's doubt

As they strolled along, Mira inquired of Shin, "Are you genuinely confident that those children who received stickers will actually become aware of our game machine at Ikeburo Entertainment?"

Shin shook his head and admitted, "No, I'm not sure at all. I was running low on budget, so I took a gamble with those stickers. I have no idea if those youngsters will even notice them."

In frustration, Mira grabbed Shin and exclaimed, "Then why did you appear so sure about it?! You basically took a risky chance without any real plan!"

Shin laughed at her reaction and replied, "Don't fret. Even if they don't catch on, I'll ensure they find out."

Mira winced and argued, "Find out? If this doesn't work, we'll soon run out of funds!"

Shin chuckled and playfully teased, "Hey, hey. You're just an employee, right? How come you're more concerned about the company's fate than I am, the CEO and owner?"

Mira snapped back to reality, growing embarrassed. She defended herself, "Well, I... I'm your employee, part of the company, so I have a stake in it! If the company goes bankrupt, I'll lose my job, you know?" She avoided Shin's gaze as she spoke.

Shin shook his head and continued to tease, "Really? Don't worry too much. If I go bankrupt, you can always find another job," he said with a shrug.

Mira pouted and retorted, "Find another job? Of course, I can. But it won't be as generous as your offer!"

Shin grinned and challenged, "Is that so? I've seen some job listings that seem more generous than me."

Mira became irritated and huffed, explaining, "Hmph! Who knows if those are sketchy? It's so risky these days. Wait, why am I even justifying myself?" She huffed and changed the subject, asking, "You mentioned you'll ensure they find out? Can you elaborate?"

Shin chuckled at her reaction, nodded, and said, "To guarantee they become aware, we'll visit the park again. We'll pass by it as we walk."

Mira nodded and remarked, "No wonder you didn't call for a taxi."

---

A group of children, accompanied by a few adults, waited in anticipation to see if Shin and Mira would once again bring the video game console and TV.

Many of the children in the group had KiShin stickers affixed to their bags or belongings, although some hadn't used them yet. Their excitement grew as Shin and Mira approached the park. Upon their arrival, the children exclaimed, "Brother! Sister! Can we play Mario again?"

"Let's play! Yay!"

Shin smiled, delighted by the children's enthusiasm. He noticed that some adults were secretly eavesdropping, and some children were accompanied by their fathers or mothers. Shin spoke up, saying, "If any of you would like to play again, you can ask your parents to take you to Ikeburo Entertainment."

Among the children, there were more elementary students than kindergartners. Some of the younger children didn't fully grasp the situation, but the elementary students chimed in, "Ikeburo Entertainment? I've been there before!"

Shin nodded and continued, "You can find it in the section with coin-operated machines. If you can't locate it, just check the back of the unopened sticker for its specific location; the map is already printed there."

Taki, Hiro's father, turned to Shin with a question, "So, the children won't be able to play here at the park for free anymore?"

Taki had come to the park out of curiosity to see the video games but hadn't expected that they wouldn't be available for free anymore.

Shin nodded but reassured him, "That's right, but those who received the golden KiShin sticker badge can play for one hour for free at one of our game machines at Ikeburo Entertainment."

Taki was puzzled and asked, "Golden KiShin Sticker?"

Hiro nudged Taki, proudly presenting his sticker, and said, "Dad, look! I have one! A golden sticker after playing a second time!"

Taki examined the golden sticker in Hiro's hand, which bore the company logo and the Ikeburo Entertainment logo, recognizable to him as he had been to the entertainment building before.

Some other children also had the golden stickers, and those who came with their parents eagerly showed them off.

Hiro pleaded with Taki, "Dad, let's go there! I want to play Super Mario!"

Taki, curious to see the video game that had captivated his son, readily agreed. Other children who had made the same request received similar responses from their parents.

Shin smiled, satisfied that everything was clear. He added, "That's all I came to announce—to let the children know that we won't be coming here again to offer free play on our video games."

Some of the children looked disappointed.

"But at Ikeburo Entertainment, there are six video game machines you can play," Shin said with a grin.

Upon hearing this, the children's spirits lifted, and they were eager to head to Ikeburo Entertainment. Some adults who had been exercising also overheard and were keen to give Super Mario a try.

---

Shin glanced at Mira and remarked, "You see? I told you everything would turn out fine."

Mira snorted dismissively, saying, "Hmph. Don't get too cocky. We can't be certain it's going to work."

Shin chuckled and responded, "Even if you didn't have faith in me, have faith in the process."

Mira continued to pout and huff, but Shin found her adorable, and he couldn't help but smile.

Meanwhile, at Ikeburo Entertainment, a few hours had passed since Shin and Mira had left. Lee Han scrutinized the earnings report and noted that KiShin Video Games hadn't generated any revenue for the day, except when he had played it.

He shook his head, thinking, 'People must have assumed the game machine was just boring Tetris and ping pong.'

Little did he know that after Shin had informed the children and some adults, he was in for a surprise, especially since it was Sunday the next day.
