BAM—!
A wooden table broke into pieces and a man garbed in black with a sword in his hand glared at a pretty woman in her early thirties who ran out of the kitchen.
Tears welled up in her eyes when she saw the table. After losing her inn, building this small restaurant cost her savings and yet some man just shattered one of her few tables without a second thought.
"Why is there a stone in my food? Look, I just lost a tooth!" The man pointed at the gap in his teeth.
The other tables were occupied by men in black and their jade tag and appearance made the woman realize they were all from one sect—Eternal Night.
She had been so happy about the large number of customers that she forgot to take a good look at them.
"A…a… stone?... T… that's can't…B… be."
"Are you implying that I broke my own tooth?" The man yelled, recalling when his partner punched his mouth before they entered the inn.
He winced as he remembered the pain.
