An energy pulse was felt in the air, waves of energy was coming of hee body and her aura was shining bright like a giant ball of fire and a third tail grew out from her back, her fatal wounds healed and she felt life sip back into her once again. Layla determination and will to grow stronger helped her break through hee limits and escape death

Layla's moment was cut short lived as grimm used the handle part of his scythe to wack her out of hee glory

layla stood up confident that she could fight against and she was curious as to how strong she had gotten. she tried summoning her flames again but subconsciously he started charging up a ball of energy and when she realized what she was doing she stopped accidentally firing it at grimm, he just looked at it and with his scythe cut the ball of energy in half as it exploded behind him

What layla didn't know was grimm was furious, she had coursed him pain and he was more furious than he had ever been completely forgetting the demons around which where watching the spectacle and was solemnly focused on ending her

Grimm swung his scythe and a line of red energy came out again towards layla but this time Be charged up her energy ball and fired it cancelling out the attack

I really have gotten stronger, I knew with each transformation my power gets times by the number of tails but this is ay more than I expected she thought

listen up grimm you can't win this fight anymore, cus right now my power has been multiplied by three, you see nine tailed foxes have a unique power, with one tail whatever power level he had at our base form gets doubled but from two upwards it gets multiplied by two and so on....

Grimm threw his scythe towards layla which she dodged bending hee body backwards touching the ground then popping back up when it passed but it stopped in mid air ad came right back at her, she jumped over it this time but it landed right in grimm's hands as he was now right in front of her

She immediately casted her defense spell stopping the attack

hell yh I'm way stronger now she said as she punched grimm in the face through the barrier and he flew

that hurt he said as he began charging his scythe, seeing this she began charging her ball of energy again

he swung his scythe creating a large line of red energy and she shot her large ball of energy, the two energy attacks collided and a huge explosion occured canceling each other out

shadow chains grimm said and black chains came out binding layla but she broke free of it with ease, she jumped up hire in the air and shot down barrage of energy balls all over the place, grimm just spins his scythe and blocked all the attacks coming his way. she fired another line of energy but she countered with a ball of energy and it exploded

I'm stronger than him now buy the problem is that scythe, if I can hit it away then this match is over she thought to herself

She landed and immediately went for a close quarters combat but grimm unleashed a stream of fire at her, she covered her entire body with her energy and ran straight through it throwing a punch but he blocked it with his scythe, she threw punches at him and he blocked with his scythe the she mixed kicks making a combo of punches and kicks but grimm dodged hee kicks and blocked her punches

So you can still keep up with me in this form, impressive she said

suddenly she grabbed the scythe and kicked grimm away making him leave the scythe with her

now your through she said but grimm just smiled

was that your big plan, he summoned three more scythe and they started spinning looking like floating blades then he sent them to her

he can make more she said feeling the tides where shifting once again

grimm could make more weapons but the scythe was special cus it relayed his emotions to send people to hell, whenever he hated something or wanted to kill something a scythe was always what he thought about despite the fact it's a farming tool

Layla desperately dodges the attacks and deflected then with the scythe she was holding but grimm made that one disappear, now she was left with nothing to defend herself so she casted her force field again and chained up grimm again with the holy binding spell

again! grimm shouted as the pain was excruciating

she prepared her ball of energy again and this time it hit it's mark

again grimm had been blasted and again he was badly hurt literally half his body was burned to almost nothing, he was in so much pain he couldn't stand it and his anger and rage grew even more, Zeke from the inside couldn't control it any more as power from his anger erupted

grimm's body grew back and so did his clothes buy that wasn't all, a black line ran from his eyes and touches each other on his neck and his teeth changed and all of them looked like daggers, his nails and eyes with his mouth suddenly glowed red and his energy was pulsating around him creating a mini shock wave that was pushing away everything near him. He stood up and looked directly at layla coursing a sudden chill to go down her spin

Grimm w...what are you she thought as he no longer looked human, no he looked more like a monster akin to a vampire of some sort, he dashed forward at blinding speeds mind you at his normal transformed state he was already as fast as a bullet but now he was much much faster, layla threw a punch but grimm caught it with his bare hand and through a punch of his own. They kept throwing punches with layla noticing something

grimm then starting mixing in kicks just like she did before but instead of going for her legs he threw a high kick towards the head, she dodged them but when she dodged the last one she met a fire ball to the face, the attack stunned hee for a bit as she wasn't expecting it then he followed up with a punch to the guy sending her flying but using the chains he dragged her back

get over here he said in a deep monotone voice

she covered his fists with flames and punched her non stop, now layla was on the offensive, she wasn't harmed by the flames like before but the force and power behind it was another story

how did is he getting stronger she thought

a force field appeared pushing grimm back but he held his ground and punched the force field with his hands still covered in flames, he kept punching and slowly cracks started to form on the force field

chains came out of nowhere to bind grimm again but he ran disappearing fr his spot and appearing right behind her

Grimm gathered his flames, intensified it and blasted the force field, the blast was much more powerful pushing hee back quite a bit, she shield was about to break so she countered with energy blast but surprisingly the flames was struggling with the energy she produced

I don't get it, how did he get stronger

suddenly black chains appeared tying her up, she tried breaking free but found it difficult then the scythe appeared in grimm's hand again and he ran directly behind her attempting to behead her

Grimm stop! Zeke yield in his head

Grimm stopped for a moment buy that was enough for layla to break free and dodge the attack, she leaped backwards launching a barrage attack of energy balls but grimm sliced them with his scythe, he launched his own barrage of attacks and the two collided coursing multiple explosions. Suddenly a chain attached itself to layla's leg and dragged her forward, grimm jumped forward and again tried beheading layla but she erupted her force field again blocking the strike

that's it I'm going all out she proclaimed

light in spike form appeared in the hundreds and flew directly at grimm, at first he was dodged but when he noticed she was preparing a large energy ball he stopped, spined his scythe blockish any lance that tried to stab him ad ran forward towards her, she jumped up in the air and launched her attack. Grimm charged his scythe with energy and threw it as her spinning like a blade

The two collided and exploded but the scythe kept coming towards layla who skillful spined and moved her body out of the way in mid air. she was about to land but grimm with blinding speed appeared with another scythe and slashed hee before he hit the ground sending her flying but again before he could she could go any further chains tied her up again grimm swung his scythe about to behead her again

Grimm nooo! Zeke screamed again he stopped dropping the weapon to the ground and letting layla fall to the ground

the battle for control continued in grimm's head while layla was trying to focus, hee injuries weren't healing as fast as before sos he was trying to focus on healing herself. Unbeknown to them the demons which had been watching them all this while had been waiting for a winner or looser to immerge but this was better than they hoped for, the demons weren't like the others they had fought before, they looked like little babies online they where red with yellow eyes and horns poking out a little bit from here heads plus they where many, like in the thousands. They slowly crawled towards them trying not to be noticed, soon the field who h was cleared by the fight was slowly turning red s more and more kept coming out from the rubble and trash everywhere

but before they could do anything to layla and grimm, grimm erupted in flames burning and incinerating everything's bin site, the hole junk yard turned into nothing but flames and melted metal

with that grimm collapsed on the floor
