Who would believe I'd return to this dog blood man?
I thought of running away, but at this time I could not, the baby was gone and things were still good.
Upon my return, I refused to quit entirely and chose to pursue as many endorsement contracts as possible. I cannot depend on that man or wait for those people to slowly ruin my life.
"Hello, Madam Au," I smiled, waving back, "Hello, Secretary Han." I handed her a small bag with a sweet scent before diving back into my thoughts. As the elevator doors closed, my smile faded, and I fought the urge to sneer.
I had been like the dumb Cinderella living like a clueless fool.
I had given up on being a competent housewife. I remembered learning recipes from my mother and the maids, watching them clean silverware, and how to dress to please my husband while maintaining dignity outside as his wife. I attended dance classes not for classical but to please my future husband.
Learned massage techniques to ease pain and arouse, studied voice acting for allure, and explored cosplay, all to become the woman who captivated him. I perfected my oral and hand skills to bring him the ultimate pleasure when the time of the month was there.
From bondage to dominance, dedicating myself to achieving the perfect physique for him. I had quit before, just for him! The sports I chose kept me in shape without looking overly muscular, was all with him in mind. Fortunately, my genes blessed me with striking beauty that was also easily manipulated.
I moulded myself to be the perfect wife in every single way just for him my husband.
Ahhhh!!
"Hello, Madam Au," many greeted me, and I responded with a smile as I handed a beautifully decorated bag to one woman. "Is the president in?" I asked cheerfully. My long, thick hair was braided with a simple yet elegant bow at the end. The woman stared at me for a while, and patiently I waited knowing it couldn't be helped.
If I piled my hair atop my head, my slightly upturned almond eyes, flanked by thick, curled lashes, were exposed. Straight hair looked elegant, while curls brought a cute, attractive touch. A braid exuded maturity, but wearing my thick hair down made me appear significantly younger than my age. I considered my face deceptive. My figure included a tiny waist, curvy hips, an upturned rear, long, slender legs, and a chest modest enough to attract attention or hide seamlessly. My lips were beautifully bow-shaped with a pout, and my skin sported a lovely dark tone with a blush pink hue. Then there were my silver eyes, mesmerizing enough to warrant contacts to avoid looking odd.
The woman recovered, "Ah, yes, Madam Au, the president is in his office." I offered her another smile as I walked away.
This life was splendid; these people suffered because of my past foolishness.
I wanted to laugh at my own folly. Thankfully, I had awakened and decided to live for myself.
As I approached the office, I spotted the man. My heart raced, my breath caught, and for a moment, I felt dazed, but I quickly regained my composure.
Who would believe this dog man would be at the service of another woman in a few months?
Damn it!
I had known him since we were fifteen, and now, as we neared thirty, my life had turned upside down.
No way!
I followed him, exchanged a few superficial words, and suddenly found myself drawn to him. It couldn't be helped; he was my type, and I'm a face controller.
I judge beauty by appearance rather than by mind or soul. It's strange to consider; that I'm evaluating something intangible. Aye, face controller here, who cares about the soul, I can't see it, can't touch it. Let me stay in the flesh business and obsess over that skin bag like the righteous face controller I am.
He brought me to new heights multiple times before taking a break to eat and then continuing. Honestly, I've become more insatiable since returning to this time. It got so intense that I needed to get some toys.
When it was over, we both napped. After waking, I cleaned up and approached the window.
With my long hair half wet, I touched my tousled curls and gazed out the window.
So much drama could happen in a year, and this country had so many secrets. I looked down at my hands, I also had secrets. Maybe I should go back once the baby appears again.
I know that even if I don't help this man, he will still become one of the elusive and top, he is after all related to that family.
It is just, that I can't believe I was some character here only to add drama to these two dog-blood people, why make him my husband?
Why let me meet him so long ago; why not three or five?
Why make him a wife worshipper?
Why make me stand out so much?
Just so I could become a gutter rat?
My vision became blurred but I stood strong. I have to be strong, I have to survive. The vibration of my phone took away my attention, I looked at it and saw that it was a number I recognized. "Brother," I said softly. "Sister, when will you return home? Grandmother wants to see you." My heart skipped a beat but I stayed calm, "Of course, I will return this weekend." I said in a cheery voice. I dreaded it though but I was good at hiding it. "Then we will see you this weekend at the old house."
"Yes," I said voice almost cracking, hanging up the phone.
Staring off I saw the hustle and bustle of people below. The towering buildings showed our progress.
In a week there will be an event, it is the much-anticipated event help in the skyline club, the last time I went she appeared, and she tried every means to get me to make a fool of myself.
A week seems long but it is not, many things will happen, I just need to be the dutiful wife until I can escape.
Just a few words and it took so long. Sigh, I wanted to blend her thoughts with her present actions in this chapter.
