As the lab session ended and the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting long, golden shadows across the university grounds, Eve gathered her belongings. The day's revelations left her both exhilarated and slightly uneasy.

They walked out of the lab together, the evening air cool and refreshing after the long hours spent indoors. Eve felt her heart flutter as she walked beside Victor, his presence always had that effect on her. Outside, they spotted Emily, Raphael, and Maximilian waiting. Raphael, the ever-mischievous one, was engaged in teasing Emily, who was trying her best to ignore him. Maximilian stood nearby, smiling at their antics.
