A New Day

Saitama went to bed, after long day of fighting monsters and looking for discount food sales coupon.

"Man, I'm tired. time to hit the hay. I hope I can find alot of food coupon." - Saitama

And so, saitama went to sleep. Now he was dreaming about fighting subterranean monster and he was about to kill the boss then he wake up to see a decomposing human trying to bite him but saitama skin was too hard for the walker to bite in, and so saitama flick his finger on the walker head. The walker head explode like an 50cal impact on watermelon. Now he question himself how he wake up in the woods.

"what the hell, I was just sleeping on my futon earlier. Hmmm where the hell am I?"- Saitama

Saitama look around the woods and heard a gunshot, he went up there to check what's going on. When he was there he found a man holding a shotgun. The man dropped his gun.

"hey man, do you know what's the hell going on? - Lee

"Nah, i don't know what going on either since I'm not from here. And do you know where I am? - Saitama

"oh, You're in Georgia . Well let get going these dead people around the wood are trying to get us."- Lee

"Georgia?, did I just got isekai to a different world? Nooooooo what about my apartment? Food sales?, I need to figure out how to get back to my world" - saitama thought

Saitama helped lee get up over the fence, and after that saitama just jump over it.

"*sigh man those things are trying to eat us what the hell." -lee

"Yeah, man I wish I'm still dreaming."- saitama

"And by the way, we haven't introduced ourselves yet, I think I will go first" -lee

"my name is Lee Everett, I teach history at University Of Georgia , how about you young man?" - lee

"Oh nice to meet you, my name is Saitama im a hero for fun." - saitama

"Saitama huh. That name sound foreign. "hey saitama are you from around here?" - lee

"Nah I'm from City Z"- saitama

"Hmm this fellow must be a tourist In America and probably lost his way"- lee thought

Both man shake each other hand and after that, lee walked up to the door before that he knocked on it then wait for a few minute, Lee is telling the homeowner he is entering and not a threat.

Lee open the window door and enter it as saitama follow directly behind him.

Lee walked around the living room and saitama walk to the kitchen, he's checking for supplies. The phone speaker is making a noise, Lee pressed the phone speaker button and the speaker informed them about the parent situation and their kid babysitting.

"man... what is going on."- Lee

"yeah man it crazy out there now. Everyone is eating people. Like zombie. - Saitama

"Zombies? What's that term?"- Lee

"It a horror type of movie/shows that monster eat people."- Saitama

"Oh I see they are monster eat people" - Lee

Lee and saitama look around the living room, they heard a phone voicemail and lee press it, to heard what's about. Lee and saitama heard about this situation and feel bad.

Lee then went into the kitchen and slip on a puddle of blood but saitama save him from falling. Lee appreciate saitama for that. And lee open the cabinet door and found an Walkie Talkie, he pressed some button while saitama was checking upstair. Then a voice appear on the walkie talkie.

"daddy?" - Unknown little girl

"What"- lee

Lee walk up to the glass door

"Hello"- lee

"you need to be quiet"- unknown little girl

"I'm not a monster" - lee

"Good"- little girl

"who is this?"- lee

"I'm Clementine. this is my house"- Clementine

"Hi. Clementine I'm lee and where are your parent?"- lee

"They took a trip and left me with Sandra. They're in Savannah, I think. Where the boats are."- Clementine

"are you okay?"- lee

"I'm okay. They tried to get me. But I'm hiding until my parents come home."- Clementine

"how old are you?"- lee

"Eight year old"- Clementine

"and you're been by yourself all along?"- lee

"Yes and I don't know where my baby sister go."- Clementine

Lee asked where Clementine at and she told him she's in the treehouse.

"Can you see me? I can see you through the window."

Clementine wave to lee and lee wave back

Clementine screamed and went back to her treehouse. Lee got attacked by the dead baby sister and slipped on puddle of blood. Then he crawl to near the slide door and kick the walker away from him. Clementine give lee a wrenches, right before lee was about to swing it. Saitama took the dead babysitter leg off and lee smash it skull with the hammer.

Lee appreciate both for saitama and Clementine for helping him.

"if it wasn't for you both, i would be that thing food. *out of breathe."- lee

"Is it dead"- Clementine

"I think so, and is this your babysitter?" - lee

"Yes, i last time I saw her screaming and heard growling"- Clementine

Lee introduced saitama to Clementine

"hey nice to meet you little girl my name saitama"- saitama

"saitama? I never heard of that before.

But nice to meet you too mister"- Clementine

Lee told Clementine saitama is new to the country.

Lee asked them if they want to move out of the house till night or right now. Saitama told lee whatever Clementine agreed on. Clementine worries about leaving her house and her parent coming home. Lee reassured her and tell her that when this is all over, she will meet her parent.

"Man I feel sorry for this kid, her parent may be dead"- saitama thought

And so, they planned now to go somewhere safe and Clementine open the gate. They was walking and meet two man.

"Hey man!"- lee

"Holy shit"- man 1

"Don't eat us"- man 2

"We're not going to hurt you"- lee

"Phew thought for a second you and that little one and that bald man in a pajama was about to eat us." Man 1

"Hey what if I'm bald huh!!!"- saitama

Saitama is sad now about his bald head

"Sorry about that man I bear no ill intentions toward you"- man 1

"Uh, what are you two doing?" - lee

"Trying to get home, this neighborhood's a disaster. Are you trying to get outta here? Because you should be. Those things are all over the damn place. I haven't seen anything as gnarly as this neighborhood since downtown Atlanta, fifteen miles back." - man 1

"Do you know what the hell this is?"- lee

"No idea. So you've seen them then?- man 1

"You could say that" - lee

"We need help"- lee

"Are you trying to get outta here? Because you should be. Those things are all over the damn place. I haven't seen anything as gnarly as this neighborhood since downtown Atlanta, fifteen miles back." Man 1

"Thanks for, uh, not doing that. Eatin' us, that is."- man 2

"I'm Shawn, Shawn Greene"

"Lee, this is Clementine"

"I'm Chet"

"I'm Saitama hero for fun"

"Uh, We shouldn't be out in the open like this. How about you help us clear the way and we'll take you and your daughter and also your friend down to my family's farm. It should be safer there." - Shawn

"I'm not her dad. I'm just some guy"- lee

"Some guy?"- Shawn

"Yeah, and my friend saitama also."- lee

"Oh so you two found her and helping until she find her parent" - Shawn

Both Lee and Saitama nodded.

"Great, Let's get going. Staying put for too long is a mistake."- Shawn

Lee asked Clementine what she want to do

"I..."- Clementine

Clementine looks at her house, then back at Lee. Zombies start growling in the background.

"Them monsters comin'! WE GOTTA GO!"- Chet

Shawn and Chet starts trying to push the car.

"Lee, Saitama help us push the car!!!"- Shawn

Lee went up to Shawn and started to push the car, moment later Clementine join in helping them.

They were struggling until saitama just push the car far away. They were all shocked at his strength. They must thought they was hallucinating this. But it was no time to be shocked they gotta get outta there.

Shawn got into the driver seat and tell everyone to get on. Chet got into the back of the truck and lee is on the front seat while Clementine and Saitama are in the back.

"For just "some guy," it seems like you two have saved a bunch of lives today."- Shawn

"Nope, that all belong to Saitama."- lee

"Wow, we're lucky to have him. And how did you two meet?"- Shawn

"I meet him in the wood when I was in a car crash."- lee

"Oh, I see then I'll be driving to my family

Farm"- Shawn

They arrived at the farm and Chet say his farewell to them. They walked up to the front porch and the door open revealing to be a Shawn old man.

"Thank god you're okay"- Hershel

"I was worried it'd be bad here, too."- Shawn

Shawn hugs his father.

"Been quiet as usual the past couple days. Ol' Breckon down the way thinks his mare's gone lame but that ain't nothing new."- Hershel

"I wouldn't have made it back without Chet."- Shawn

"Well, I'm glad you took him with you then."- Hershel

Hershel turn his face to the trio and puts his hands on his hips. And he see one bald man wearing pajama. He thought to himself did this man really just got up from bed?

"You've brought a couple guests."- Hershel

"Your boy's a lifesaver"- Lee

"Glad he could be of help to somebody"- Hershel

"We just need a little...help. We won't stay long."- Lee

"Good. You're welcome to stay here, but just for the night. I don't run a bed and breakfast."- Hershel

"So it's just you and your daughter and that man"- Hershel

"Oh, not his daughter, he's and that other man is just some guy."- Shawn

Hershel kneels down in front of Clementine.

"Honey, do you know those 2 man"- Hershel

"Yes"- Clementine

"Ok then"- Hershel

"Well, looks like you hurt your leg pretty bad there."- Hershel

"Yeah, it's not doing so good."- Lee

"I can help you out. Shawn, run on in and check on your sister. You, take a seat up on the porch and I'll go see what I have."- Hershel

Shawn and Hershel enter the house, Lee takes a seat on the bench on the porch, and Clementine stands near the top of the stairs, while Saitama stand beside Clementine. Hershel returns shortly, holding a roll of bandages. He kneels down and inspects Lee's leg.

"Let's have a look. Yeah, this is swollen to hell."- Hershel

"It's not too bad. Could be worse"- Lee

"That's what it sounds like. Seems like things got awful bad in the cities."- Hershel

"What'd you say your name was?"- Hershel

"Lee"

"Nice to meet you, Lee. I'm Hershel Greene.

Hershel bandages Lee's wound and he winces in pain.

Saitama was daydreaming about food sales coupon. Until Hershel snap him out of it.

"Hey, young man did you just woke up?"- Hershel

"Yeah"- Saitama

"Well, figure you're probably drunk over college party probably."- Hershel

"Nah, I'm a hero for fun. I don't go to college."

"Hero for fun, are you role playing hahahahaha"- Hershel

Saitama just do his usual poker face.

"Well, whatever you and your friend have to take care of this little girl, make sure she go to her parent". - Hershel

Hershel turn to Clementine

"I didn't catch your name, darlin'."- Hershel

"Clem—Clementine"

Hershel asked Lee how this happen, Lee told him he was in car accident. And how he meet Saitama in the wood. Hershel then asked Lee about Clementine circumstances.

Lee told Hershel he and Saitama will take care of her for the time being until they meet her parents. Hershel feel sympathy for Clemency and wish them well.

"Hey, Dad, so I'm thinking, first thing tomorrow, we gotta reinforce the fence around the farm."- Shawn

"That doesn't seem necessary."- Hershel

"I don't know what you saw on TV, or heard on the radio, but there's some serious..."(looks at Clementine) SHIT hitting the fan. I don't think anyone knows how big it is yet."- Shawn

"Your son's right. You're gonna wanna fortify this place." - Lee

"Stuff like that doesn't happen around here, Shawn."- Hershel

"Dad, I'm serious. Lee, come on, tell him what you saw out there, man."- Shawn

"Teenage girl with her guts spilled out on the floor stood up from the dead and tried to bite me."- Lee

"Well, do what you think you should. We've got plenty of chores as it is"- Hershel

"Lee and those folks in the barn can help out in the morning. We gotta do it, really."- Shawn

"I already said okay."- Hershel

"Well, I'm all done here. It should start to feel better tomorrow."- Hershel

"Thanks."- Lee

Hershel gets up.

"If your leg gets hot or the swelling doesn't go down, you're probably dealing with an infection."- Hershel

"What do we do then?"- Lee

"We'll probably just have to shoot you."- Hershel

Lee looks surprised.

"We'll clean it, re-dress it and you'll be fine."Hershel

"Okay, that'd be preferable."- Les

"There's blankets and such in the barn. We'll be seeing you bright and early. Come tomorrow, which way you think you're headed?"- Hershel

"Towards Macon, I suppose."- Lee

"How about you my friend?- Hershel

"Well, I guess I have to decide later when I part away after we bring Clementine to her parent."- Saitama

"I see, well good luck to you three."-Hershel

Hershel nods. He turns to Clementine and smiles at her before going back inside.

"Alright then."- Lee

The trio walked to the barn

The Trio lie down on makeshift beds in the hay-covered barn. The family of three is already asleep on the upper floor of the barn.

"It smell like.."- Clementine

"Shit"- Lee

Clementine gasps and glares at Lee.

"Hey, that was a swear"- Clementine

"I'm sorry; shouldn't talk like that."- Lee

"I miss my mom and dad."- Clementine

"I bet Clem"- Lee

"How far is Savannah?"- Clementine

"Pretty Far"- lee

"Oh okay"- Clementine

"Hey big brother, where are you from"- Clementine asking the bald hero

"Uh. I'm from Japan City Z."- Saitama

"Japan? Where is that?"- Clementine

"Saitama is from Asia. Clementine"- Lee

"Oh, Ok"- Clementine

"So, big brother do you miss your family and home?"- Clementine

"Well, I miss my home but I don't miss my family because I've been alone forever since I was born. I don't know them."- Saitama saying all that nonchalantly.

"Sorry about that big brother"- Clementine

"Nah, it ok."- Saitama

Both Clementine and Lee feel bad for Saitama.

"But hey saitama how are you so strong?"-  Lee

Saitama smirk, serious face mode he told Lee and Clementine about his strength.

Lee and Clementine think it funny and both laughs.

"But hey I think it good idea for us to sleep." - Lee

"Good night you too"- Lee

"Yeah, good night"- Clementine

"Good night"- Saitama

Saitama, Clementine and Lee fall asleep. Lee begins dreaming about his traumatic experience. While Saitama dream about being in his apartment. Lee wake up from his nightmare breathing heavily but calm down and went back to sleep.

When he wakes up the next morning, he sees a mustachioed man speaking to him.
