Chapter 19 - A Conundrum Of Troubles

Chris flinched from the calmness Alistair gave.

"Y-yes your Majesty?"

"Open your mouth for the investigation you've found"

Chris nodded "Well it seems that all people has been put into sleep and it seems i woke up early than expected perhaps it's due to the resistance on the magic"

The car passed the streets, the noon turning into dusk.

"Correct as we landed, you collapsed from the spell and i felt a strong magical output not magic being casted but the mana itself"

Chris pondered for a moment and widened his eyes "Is this situation perhaps linked to the mana danger zones?"

"Mhm" Alistair nodded as the arms of Chris was on the driver's seat controlling the car's movements.

A sweat run down to cheeks "But who could've done the spell? Is this why you've wanted to talk privately my prince? You shunned Vinanciel away but he knew of the woman of the two of you are talking about...If i think carefully is she connected to this case?"

Alistair strokes the hair of the sleeping Rius on his lap.

"Yes she's connected on this case, there are no damages around the stadium but judging from Vinanciel's words it is as if they fought but there's no wreckage but there is something the ocean's were raging with tornadoes howling at their anger symbolising the anger of the gods through nature itself you could say the lady herself is mana itself because when you think about it a place with large amounts of mana turns into a danger mana zone around the world and we avoid those things"

"Does this mean you've fought this lady?"

"Yes she was capable enough on her own as if she is holding back her power" He chuckles before continuing "I don't know if even five of consecutive God Arts will work on her, i mean your mana causing a mana surge on your surroundings by just existing? That could potentially destroy the world and i know i felt it myself that it sent shivers down to my spine"

Chris flinched in fright "Are you serious right now my prince? That being made you scared?"

"Why shouldn't you be scared? it's natural to fear the unknown"

He chuckled again.

Alistair turned on his bracelet under the hem of his shirt and typed on the buttons on it.

Then a light screen appears from the bracelet into the air showing an icon of a telephone of red turning to green.

"Hello?this is Adamstein Residence jow may i help you?"

The voice of Rius's mother calling, Her name is Crissa Vonmelt Adamstein.

"Ah may i ask you something?"

"Ah?! Oh my stars it's you what are you up to this day?"

"I'll taking Rius in my house"

There was a pause on the other side of the call and then she sighed "I suppose he can stay at your home"

"We just finished familiarizing our pheromones" Alistair said nonchalantly but there was a hint of pride in his voice.

"Oh my? You did? Then! Please do make him feel at home since it's his first time familiarizing"

"Yes i shall hang up now"

"But what about the arrange m-"

"You shouldn't worry about that I'll handle that myself"

"I suppose you will"

"Then let's end the call"

"Have a good evening!"

Alistair nodded as the car stopped at the parking lot of the house of Alistair, a mansion given to him for his residence in the city frankly speaking he has more houses scattered around the world with each house in every country.

"We're here your majesty"

Chris opens the car in the rear where they are seated and Alistair carried Rius on his arms sleeping soundly.

They stopped walking at the front of the door then a machine of like a scanner popped out and scanned their bodies.

"Hello Master, who is this new person?"

"My wife"

"Oh my really?!" Said the bot in surprise opening the entrance quickly.

"My future wife to be exact"

"Then i shall register him if he comes by, have a great night master!"

The bot then stationed at the front of the door like a white fluff playing a game.

"Initiate Protection Barrier Magic, Initiate Warding of Evil Magic And Lastly Prepare electric invisible fence"

The bot shots two balls of magic covering the house with the first two magic and protects the surroundings with invisible lightning fence carve on the walls.

While in the inside of mansion, the light turns on automatically as they enter.

"That bot of yours loves to play games who programmed that bot?"

Asks Chris.

"It's me who made him"

Alistair goes upstairs sending Chris in shock from his answer.

"Wait you did?! And here i thought it's from a research lab all this time"

"Whatever your questions are Chris calm it down if it's trivial matter or else if he wakes up" Alistair sternly looked towards Chris making him flinch "Why don't you just hang out in the bar on the city tomorrow" Chris's face have brightened.

"Oh heck yah! A new sex partner!" He happily rejoiced and whistles going to other room.

"That man speaks trouble"Mumbled Alistair as he puts Rius on the bed gently then tucks Rius in a blanket.

Rius whimpers and it made Alistair expresses in alert and places his hand on Rius's forehead. His body was heating up with a sudden rise in temperature.

"Shit what's happening with you? a fever?" he widened his eyes and realized something "A Heat?"

Rius started panting and moves in a struggling way while gritting his teeth after that a moan was heard from Rius and he huffed more.

"Ah...haa....."

"Rius! I'm here! it'll be alright!"

He grits his teeth but to his surprise a tremor occured at this moment making him more alarmed, hie comes close to Rius shielding him from anything that might happen. Then the tremor stopped, footsteps were heard in a fast pace as Chris opened the door quickly.

"I'll protect you no matter what happens" He said reassuring the troubled Rius.

"Your Majesty are you alright?!" he huffed for air and he comes closer to the couple, he was panting but he took a deep breath in.

"I think we are alright"Alistair looked at the panting Rius and rubbed his thumb to his Rius's cheek.

He sighed in relief but to the next Scenario will take an unexpected turn of events.
