Thank you

Lucius stood before Narcys without actually knowing what and how to thank him. And it didn't help that Narcys was taller than Lucius. He was at least half a head taller than him

"What's wrong?", he said with a grumpy tone.

"I-", Lucius was really scared and couldn't read his expression because his black hair covered his eyes.

"Just say it."

You could hear from his voice that he was getting impatient. Even the lazy way that he stood was replaced by a tapping foot.

"I just wanted to say thang you!", Lucius said fast.

He didn't want to delay him any further. So, he just said it really fast but maybe a little too loud for comfort.

"Why would you say thank you? I didn't even do anything."

"No, you did.", Lucius said now what calmer.

"You helped me when we were choosing a class president."

"Oh that.", he seemed to understand what he meaned and nodded.

"You don't need to say than you because I didn't do it for you. I just found them too loud. If they wanted to force someone, they should do it quietly and not disturb other, but they were so loud that I wanted to beat them until they couldn't talk anymore."

"What?", Lucius was surprised.

He was surprised because who would ever think that he would just casually say that he didn't help for a person for good reason but was helping because they annoyed him. And he even said that he would have beaten them. How you looked at him, he isn't normal.

"You didn't hear me?"

Narcys pulled his bangs that were covering his eyes backwards and said: "I don't need your thank you. I want you to not talk to me and just leave me alone because you are so annoying."

Now that you could see his face you could see that he was getting really annoyed. But before Lucius realized he spoke what was on his mind.

"What beautiful eyes."

"What?", this time it was Narcys time to be surprised.

He was just complimented by a guy he was literally telling that get out of his face.

"Your eyes are really beautiful."

Lucius already talked about it so why would he avoid it. If he could be honest, he could so… why not now be honest?

"You-", his straightforward answer caught him of guard but still he found it quite funny.

"Haha…You are so weird. I literally told you that I found you annoying and that is how you react."

"I'm… I'm sorry."

"Why are you suddenly sorry about?", he looked at Lucius with a face that told him: 'why are you apologizing?'.

"That-"

"So, what did you say about my eyes?", he interrupted Lucius talk and asked a question.

"Beautiful…It's really beautiful."

Lucius looked really honest, his eyes looking straight at Narcys face with a smile and once again said the word beautiful.

"Ugh…"

Narcys suddenly felt a pain coming from his head. He held his head and made a sound that showed he was in pain.

"It's really beautiful."

The person who said this said it with a big smile. It seemed the person really meaned it.

But before Narcys could see who it was the image in his head disappeared with the pain that came.

"Are you okay?", Lucius asked concerned.

But before he could help Narcys stand up he already recovered.

"I'm fine.", with that he walked away with a lot of question.

[Who are you?]

Not that anybody would or could reply to this question of his.

"Just ignore him."

A voice said behind Lucius.

"It's you Erebus."

"Yeah, you should listen to Erebus and leave him alone.", said the voice beside Erebus.

Of course, it was Ryuu who talked. They came over were they stood from without having any shame of listening on someone else conversation.

"You know him?", Lucius asked because why else does it sound that they knew him.

"Yeah, we know him.", Erebus said with a face that wanted to deny it.

[It seems that he doesn't like him that much.]

Not that he would say it aloud.

"We are you could say childhood friends."

[It seems that they both don't like him.]

"I see.", Lucius said.

"You shouldn't associate too much with him."

"Why?"

"He is someone who likes to fight. You can say that he is kind of aggressive."

"Yes, yes, don't forget that he doesn't care about other people."

Ryuu began to lean a bit to Lucius and said in a whisper: "You can say that he is almost like a gangster but don't tell him that I said this."

"I don't think he is a gangster though."

"He isn't.", Erebus answered while pulling Ryuu back.

"He is a troublemaker, so it is better to keep a distance. But it just advice thought."

"But I wouldn't associate with him if I was you. You won't survive being his friend.", Ryuu said with a serious face.

"But…It would be nice if he could have a good friend.", Erebus said with a meaningful smile.

"I don't understand.", Lucius said.

"Do you like or not like him?"

But they didn't answer him and just walked to the door to go home. There were still some students but most of them were already gone.

"We are going home. Are you going too?"

"I am.", Lucius said while walking to them.

"Okay, let's go together then, Lucius.", Ryuu said with a smile on his face.

Lucius gave a smile back. The three of them went to the school gate and talked about random things. Sometimes they would be quiet but it didn't feel awkward at all.
