54_I didn't ask for it

"Why are still here?", Lin said a bit mean.

Lin is someone who is thick skinned. She could say the most nonsensical thing you will ever hear without batting her eyelashes, but there are just some times where her skin may be the thinnest you'll ever be able to see in your lifetime. Right then was a moment where her skin couldn't thicken even when she would wanted it to.

"I'm just looking forward of how a small girl as you would come in", Narcys answered nonchalantly. He even took a seat in a chair not far away to show how much he looked forward to it.

"Just do what you should do. I will look here to see how you are going to do it. I can't wait!"

"You!", Lin fumed. How couldn't she not when she was looked down by someone she absolutely didn't want to be looked down by.

[Just you wait! I'll have my revenge!] Lin though bitterly while thinking how she could climb through the window. She wasn't planning to stay here being watched by him like she was an animal in the zoo.

[Why is there no chair here?]

"You! Why don't you look around!", she asked in a not so friendly manner.

"Why should I when they are already working so hard", he answered while looking at their members who where running around the canteen looking for any clue.

"Aren't you afraid that I would tell to Iyan that you didn't do anything. I'm sure he would tell it to that Belle or something", she threatened him.

"As if you did a lot. I could tell him than how amazingly you did your job by staying outside the window because you were too small to get inside", he said showing no signs of fear as he had when Iyan talked about Belle while rubbing salt in her wound.

The only thing Lin could do was trying to get inside because she was absolutely not going to make this her black history where he could bully her with it!

[I can do this! Come on Lin this is nothing if you compare it with what you went through in the past! One! Two! Three!]

As she counted to three she made a jump and tried to push herself up. Her torso was already through it now only her lower body needed to go through the window.

[Go Lin! Show him you can do it!]

Lin put her leg in the window and wanted to push her other leg to do the same but instead she slipped and her body with the help of gravity fell down. She didn't have any time to establish herself and was sure that she would land hard even though it wasn't as high as you would imagine.

"KYAA!"

But before she reached the ground someone grabbed her arm therefore she didn't end up falling on her back, but on her feet instead.

"Are you okay?"

The one who saved Lin was no one other than Narcys. She may have a grudge against him, but that doesn't mean she isn't someone who won't feel grateful: "Thank-"

"You're really crazy. I mean you obviously are wearing a skirt but you still climb like a monkey. It's not like there is something to see, I guess. You should be grateful that I defended your honor."

"You!", finally when she wanted to say something nicer he needed to say something to change her mind: "It's not like I asked it or something!"

She became even angrier when she thought about it. She yanked her arm out of his hands and gave him a glare that showed how angry she was.

"Yes, yes", he answered absentmindedly while jumping through the window beside Lin.

"What are you doing now?", she asked full of suspicion.

"Nothing. I just decided to be a chair for someone", he replied while kneeling down in front of the window with his fingers interlocked.

Lin grabbed her skirt and wanted to ignore the 'chair' before her.

"Now you realize that you are wearing a skirt", he said while rolling his eyes.

"I didn't say anything!"

"Sure, you didn't", he answered while taking his tie off: "I'll use this as blindfold, okay?"

"I'll tie it!", Lin said while taking the tied blindfold off and tying it again carefully.

"Of course, no one will stop you."

"Hump.", Lin answered but a small smile graced on her once angry face: "I'm unstoppable."

After she was sure it was tied hard enough she took a step backwards. Feeling that she was satisfied Narcys once again intertwined his fingers and showed her a playful smile: "Are you now happy?"

She didn't reply and only stepped on his feet while climbing through the window easily. When she finally hit the ground she replied: "Remember, I didn't ask for it. I didn't say anything! It was you, okay?"

"Hahaha…", he could only laugh. It wouldn't be a lie if he said he disliked her, but that didn't mean he didn't have any feelings for her. She was annoying, but Narcys knew that somewhere in his heart he really appreciated her and wanted to know her better.

"Yes, yes, it was me. I just felt like becoming a chair for a second to just help someone who isn't you."

"Good that you know!", after saying her share Lin ran away and began to help the others searching for the clue.

[Life would be so much easier if she didn't open her mouth that much], Narcys thought while taking the tie off and placed it in his pocked. What can he say, he has no idea how to tie a tie.

A/N: Hey readers! Didn't get to finish the last chapter, the inspiration didn't come. I knew what was going to happen, but the writing didn't work.

Maybe I kind of overdid about how Lin went through a window, but I just liked that scene! I couldn't help it! I wanted to make a mini theater for the previous chapter, but got too lazy. That's the Auhtor for you!
