Trying To Take My Mask Off

My dream came true but I'm not happy. I became a legend in the entertainment world, and everybody knows me. But I sacrificed too much to stand here. I don't even know myself anymore. If you ask me what my biggest regrets are. It is that I don't know myself anymore, that I don't feel what I used to feel, that I don't know what makes me happy, that I'm now almost like a robot. It would be nice if I could change myself. If I could just turn back the time or go to another world, it doesn't matter what, if I could do it I would. And then I would change myself and search for what I want and become a person again. The girl smiled and said: "I'll give you a change." [Will you take this change and change yourself or will you stay the same? I really hope you'll change and be happy this time.] ---------------------------------------------- A boy who achieved his dream but felt alone met a girl who gave him a second chance. 43_Went easy on him

A/N: This chapter is for yesterday! I really I'm sorry for not updating on time! It's partly my fault, but also the school's fault! They make me so angry! On Monday I have a test on Access, and I can't work with it. I'll definitely fail it! We needed to make a practice test, but half of it we never saw, so how do I need to make it? Help me!

After the lunch break ended, Narcys never came back again. So, the tense class finally relaxed knowing that the source of the problem wasn't present.

The day passed and school ended quickly. Everyone hurried home without walking around. Lucius and his friends weren't an exception.

They walked home in a silent manner, but no one cared. Eira and Kai got used to it after the incident with Narcys. They hated the silence back then, but right at this moment, they didn't hate it. They even felt peaceful.

That incident felt like it happened not too long ago, but a month almost already went by. In their eyes, time went slow, but fast at the same time. It was hard to explain what they felt then. But it was okay now.

Lucius was okay.

Lucius was quiet the whole way. He knew that his friends and everyone else were worried about him and he really did appreciate it. But now he didn't have the energy to talk to them. He was even ashamed. Not only because of his action but also because his eyes were so swollen you would know he cried the whole day.

Arriving at his home, he only greeted his family before disappearing upstairs. His family immediately noticed the difference. Normally he would talk a bit to them with a smile on his face, but this time he only greeted them and hurried upstairs. They even saw his swollen eyes, so they didn't know that they should be happy about the change or be worried that he cried that much.

Without waiting they began to bombard Lucius's childhood friends. They didn't even have time to greet them before they were forced to answer each of their questions. Eira's brain circuit even gave her an ERROR alarm from thinking too much.

Fortunately, there still was Kai who tried to answer every question that came their way. But in the end, he realized that he would be forced to stay the whole day if he answered them all, so he decided to tell them what happened today.

After finishing telling them, the family of four were quiet. But not for long because Luna who was worried he would once again be bullied by the 'scumbag' was shouting excited.

"He totally deserved that!", she was so happy that she jumped up and down.

"Didn't you hear him? That transfer student said that the damage done wasn't enough. So, don't be happy too fast because you won't have the energy to celebrate after she is done with her work.", the younger brother, Sol said calmly while rolling his eyes.

[Stupid.], he thought.

It was like Luna had a sixth sense that could tell when someone talked bad about her.

"Did you say something?!", she said a bit angrily to her brother who was looking at her while not worrying that she may punch him in his face.

"Punching is so not elegant.", Sol said what Lin told them.

"I don't need to be elegant!", Luna jumped on her brother and was about to hit him but was stopped by his father.

"Can't you guys be serious for a second.", the father knew that it was just in their nature to 'fight' each other. He really didn't know from who they earned that personality.

After lecturing his children, he turned to Kai and Eira who seemed better: "So, the transfer student who is called Lin hit that boy with her bag?"

"Yeah, she did."

"I wouldn't call it hitting. You need to call it elegantly hitting someone. I think Lin would agree with me.", Eira who couldn't stop her mouth said what she thought aloud.

"Did it hurt?", the mother asked worriedly.

"Lin said it only will hurt a bit."

"Why are you worried about him, mom?", Luna said while standing up from her brother. "He doesn't deserve your concern."

Eira and even Sol nodded their head hard, showing that they totally agreed with what Luna said.

The mother knew that the boy had hurt his precious boy, but she couldn't help but be concerned about him. Maybe it's because she is a mother that she didn't want someone's else child to be hurt. After all, she wouldn't like it too.

"But is beating someone not going too far?"

"Of course not!", Eira said with a lot of power. "She even went easy on him, right Kai?"

"Yeah, she did."

Before anyone could ask how she went easy on him because letting the boy fall to the ground and then hitting him constantly with her bag and then his bag wasn't something you could call going easy on him, right?

"If she went full out, she would slap him right in his face till it swelled!", Eira didn't forget to imitate the scene.

"If that would happen, I'll be there.", she added after slapping the air a while.

"Call me too.", Sol said while stretching his hand out. "Give me your phone."

"Why?", Eira asked suspiciously.

"To add my number, duh.", it seemed he rolled his eyes a lot today.

Sol had Kai's number, but who knows what would happen. It is better if you're prepared.

He handed it back to her after he was done putting his number in it while hoping that she would not forget him if it would happen. At least, he could still trust Kai.

The mother could only watch this interaction helplessly. She knew now that the girl really did go easy on him. Slapping someone would definitely hurt more than hitting him with a bag. In the end, she could only light a candle for the poor boy who was being targeted by the transfer student. He even had a group of people who were just waiting for the next moment.

[I hope she would go easy on you the next time too.]
