Sassy part 2

Alyssa left the people in a state of awe. Her attitude was on another level and her aura dominated. She walked away with her head held high and the click of her heels was the only sound echoing in the wall as she left the stage. The reporters even forgot to take pictures as she swiftly exited the scene. 

Dove and Hannah were waiting for her in the open space leading to the stage. 

" So we are going through with it? " Hannah asked as she exhaled sharply 

" Yes, they had already formulated their own conclusions so trying to make them see the truth was not going to work at the point so we have to move to plan B." Alyssa said

" Ah, so in the end we need to lure out the people who started the rumors. So much work." Hannah whined 

" What are you whining about when you have the least complicted task there is." Dove retorted as she rolled her eyes 

" Whatever." Hannah said as he stuck her tongue out to Dove 

" Though, it will be very exciting." Hannah continued 

" Yeah, I can't wait." Dove said

" Me too." I added and we all had knowing devilsh smiles.

"It is always fun going after a lion at its den, afterall it will get our blood pumping but more importantly sending the message that we should not be messed with is equally rewarding." I said. Hannah and Dove looked shocked at my relevation but then again they understood the sentiment. Letting rumors destory future prospects gives off the worst feeling in the world especially if you feel helpless in the situation. So we should never stand for such no matter the circumstances. 

" Uhm, they shoul at least learn to frame people probably without opting for such photo shopped pictures.How many years in jail would they face as a penalty for this?" Hannah asked 

" 2 years or so." Dove said giving an estimation

" Though I think the threat to their medical degrees is enough to lure them out. They will not sit and accept such a dent to their records, it would greatly affect their opportunities after we graduate so someone will come forward." Dove continued 

" Let's hope so. Did any of the doctors come forward to salvage the situation?" I asked 

" No, the institute issued the statement on their behalf plus this press conference." Hannah said 

Bam! The door to the stage was slammed shut and we looked over we saw the event coordinator's assistant leaning against it. 

Hannah rushed to him and asked, " what is going on?" 

" It is rough out there." He exclaimed while trying to calm himself 

We waited for him to finish taking deep breaths to regulate his breathing and then he explained, " It was hard to ask the reporters to leave because they said that they felt cheated since Miss Alyssa did not offer them enough to work on so they refused to leave. The situation even got out of hand when one of them insulted my boss which led to a big fight between them." he explained 

" They fought? like real physical fighting?" Hannah asked with eyes shining with great curiosity 

" That is not the point! This was very traumatic." He exclaimed 

" What did they want me to say? admit fault for something we were not even a part of?" I asked the assistant 

" I don't know but to be honest, I thought you looked very cool in there. Like you showed a sassy side." The assistant said with a tinge of pink on his cheeks, he was blushing!

" awww, that is so cute. I never thought I would see the day my bestfriend could be described using the word "sassy". Look at that, Alyssie you are giving people the wrong impression." Hannah said teasing both Alyssa and the assistant. 

" Why am I wrong?" The assistant asked as the red on his cheeks deepened and he looked down in embarrassment. 

" No, you are not. It is just that our Alyssie is very innocent and kind. She hardly ever shows such a side unless she is seething." Hannah affirmed making the assistant feel a little better about what he said earlier. 

" She is lying. I am not seething." I denied it 

" Well, I would if I were you. I mean, people should know that rumors can destory people even if you started them as a prank, they always backfire." He said as his look changed and he looked solemn and depressed. 

"Anyway, the part my boss got punched in the face was kinda exciting. You should have seen his reaction." He added as he smiled satisfactorily. 

" Anyway I should leave now, I need to go fetch an ice pack for my boss before her eye turns blue and black. It was a heavy punch, after all, it will definitely leave a mark." He said as he turned to leave while chuckling.

"Byeeeee." He said as he waved at them 

" Yeah, bye. See you later." Hannah responded as they all waved at him.

" That is wild. Who would have thought? Adults can get into cat fights as well." Hannah commented with a laugh because she too did not like the events coordinator because of the attitude she gave off earlier. 

" Uhmm, It is shocking."Dove added 

" Shocking or not, they deserve it. Oh,man I wish I was there to see." Hannah said as she sighed. 

" You never cease to surprise me, you know." Dove said as she rolled her eyes making Alyssa laugh at the interaction.

" What? Do not tell me that you guys are not curious. I am sure you feel the same way I do." Hannah scoffed. 

" Whatever." Dove said 

" We should probably go back now." I said because I was not showing it but i was drained after showing up in front of all those people and putting up a brave front. Hannah was right though, my anger shielded my nervousness and I somehow made it through.

" Yeah, let's go back. I am exhuasted." Dove said 

" You are so not a morning person." Hannah said as she laughed.
