Chapter 125: Night before the Charity Gala I

(Michelle POV)

It was already Friday evening and for the life of me, I still can't get over what happened last Sunday at Sonor mall. How could I? After that fateful encounter with Anthony and his mom, I lost all the joy in my body and could only accompany Andy half-heartedly up to lunch.

I went home early with a heavy heart and though I knew that Anthony may just ignore my text, I still texted him explaining that Andy and I were only friends and the only reason I was there with him was because he invited me ahead of time and that he's already leaving for Country A in less than two months.

I waited and waited for his reply, and it only arrived at around 10 in the evening. He only replied with a text which content was as follows 'it's alright. You don't have to give me any explanation. It's getting late. Good night.' I still have that message in my cellphone, though I had it memorized.
