Chapter 56

Another batch of cribs was added to the second floor. The parents, however, were oblivious to the hidden competition of their children. Xinn and Alonzo played with the twins for a while before going back to the bedroom.

When Xinn and Alonzo's presence disappeared on the second floor. Shawn's eyes turned to the left direction where his fourth and fifth siblings' cribs were located. A small pout surfaced on the female baby's mouth as his eyes gradually turned watery. Why does he feel like his female father and beastman's attention were focused more on newly born babies?

They have been neglected for a while three weeks last time when his fathers married each other. Shawn wanted to cuddle with his female father so much but their Beastman Father would always snatch their supposed allocated time with Xinn.

Father Alonzo is so evil, evil, evil.

Shawn sat down dejectedly inside his crib and buried his head in his white pillow and started sobbing while sucking on his pacifier.

Father Alonzo, bad, he is so bad, bad!

Valen and Caelan had good ears; they could hear and feel their eldest brother's emotions and sounds. The two, green little snakes slithered through the gaps in their crib and crawled toward their eldest brother.

Shawn stared curiously at his younger brothers, then ignored them as he continued making wuwu sounds while crying.

The rim of the eldest son's eyes gradually turned red. He looks pitiful and sad; anyone would feel sad for him. Valen and Caelan transformed into their human forms and hugged their eldest brother.

Valen asked. " Awuu gah? "

Caelan tilted his head to the side and poked at Shawn's fat cheeks. " gah? Tu tee guah? "

Shawn answered. " awuu bu wa hi shu "

The triplets communicated with their baby language. They may not be able to understand each other, but the triplets still get along pretty well.

Shawn finally felt better after his younger brothers accompanied and entertained him.

The next day, Xinn woke up early. He went to the second floor and carried his twins carefully in his embrace. Shawn and his younger brothers floated and followed after their female father. 

Xinn smiled at them and greeted them.  " good morning my cute triplets~ "

Shawn, Valen, and Caelan rubbed their cheeks on Xinn's face and enveloped him with their small arms.  Xinn was so happy to be surrounded by a bunch of cute babies. 

Xinn took a picture of this rare moment and pose while holding his twins while his triplets floated behind him as they wrapped their hands on his neck and arms.

Alonzo arrived not long after and was ordered by his wife to brew milk for the children. Alonzo immediately wiped the mud on his hands and pouted his lips to ask Xinn for a peck.

Not only did Alonzo receive a sweet kiss from his wife, but the other babies also kissed him.  Alonzo couldn't stop himself from smiling so brightly. His day was already complete when all his family members gave him such sweet treats early in the morning.

Timothy and Sky visited the cave to play with the triplets and twins.  They were also invited to join their breakfast but Timothy and Sky politely said that they had already eaten their breakfast. 

After Timothy and Sky tired themselves from playing with the energetic triplets. The two kids bid their goodbyes as they left.

Xinn already knew that Timothy and Sky were attending class. They were currently learning how to read and write on a paper that the two tribes recently produced. 

When the news that all children must be educated in school spread. All tribal households cheered, everyone holds great expectations for the future. Everyone believes that their tribe would develop for the better. Xinn himself rewarded another HEAVENLY BOOK OF SECRETS to them regarding more advanced books.  

The two tribes may seem to be joyful and peaceful.  Xinn was concerned about the higher existence above them. Sometimes, Xinn would climb up to the cliff and gaze at the sky. Xinn knew that he was strong but he couldn't be considered the strongest either. There will always be a taller mountain, and Xinn couldn't deny that.

In his previous world, no one knows his true level. Xinn is already at the Apex of their world and it is not false, because he was indeed at the 12th level. The zombie king nucleus was supposed to be his key to advancing but he was unexpectedly assassinated without even having the chance to counter-attack.

Xinn at that time felt so awful and angry. His pride was trampled by such a being weaker than him? And the perpetrator was even the person whom he trusted the most.

He was so stupid, if he had told Ruru the truth. Ruru might have aimed at his spiritual core. 

Xinn looked up to the sky, his eyes gradually turning cold.

In another dimension, on the other hand, a man with similar golden slit eyes watched the alien's figure with a silent expression. His thoughts and intentions were unknown.

The man slowly extended his hand and touched the porcelain sphere that was modeled after the primitive planet.

His sight zoomed in to the figure of the alien and a trace of obsession suddenly flashed in a fleeting moment within the man's eyes. 

" There you are... "

The man smiled and chuckled as he spun the swivel chair. " Xinn, is that your name? "

" What a familiar name huh? "

The man's expression immediately turned cold as his eyes narrowed.

Let us see whether you have the ability to refuse me again this time.

Xinn went back to his cave to breastfeed his twins. His triplets, on the other hand, were sucking their pacifiers fiercely as they stared at Dylan and Haven, latching at their female father's breasts. Xinn laughed at their comical expressions and instead handed them a DVD player and a DVD to watch Tom and Jerry.

The female father, twins, and triplets watched Tom and Jerry the whole day.

Outside of the cave, if one passes by the vicinity of the cave, they would hear indistinct noises of milky waves of laughter and the gentle voice of the female laughing as they watched Tom and Jerry.

River and Milan coincidentally arrived and heard their laughter. River was supposed to visit his master to pay respect but hearing that the family seems to be enjoying, bonding together. Milan and River wisely retreated and changed direction. They went to the creek and started flirting.

Everything is settled, and the two tribes developed in a very quick span of time.

But unfortunately, Xinn and Alonzo couldn't stay in the northern mountain for a long time.

They still have to visit the Green Underwater Serpent Clan to visit Alonzo's parents.

The next day, the triplets rode small bicycles as they played with Sky and Timothy.

Alonzo on the other hand went to meet the two patriarchs to discuss something regarding his short departure.

Erion lifted his brows in surprise. " You will be leaving the mountain for two whole months? That's very long. "

Tudore scratched the back of his head. " Uhmm, mountain leader. Why don't you reconsider the time of your disappearance? We can't possibly protect the forest from the enemies outside. What if the exiles heard of this?"

Alonzo shook his head. " Our Clan's territory was pretty far. Two months isn't enough for us to stay there for two weeks, added by the time for traveling. Two months is too short for us. "

Flying at such a high altitude is scary, but seeing the beauty of the wilderness from the perspective of a bird is a very wonderful experience. To be able to behold such a vast vision, Xinn had the impulse to also grow a pair of wings and fly away to explore the sky.

Xinn carefully stood up as he cradled the sleeping Dylan. He slowly walked on top of the bird's head and suddenly opened his arms like Rose in Titanic. Dylan perceived the absence of his female father's hands and slowly opened his eyes.

But sensing that he was not in danger, Dylan grasped the strap of the baby bag and went back to sleep.

Alonzo also stood up and went behind Xinn. He slowly hugged Xinn's waist and rested his chin on Xinn's shoulder.

Remembering this scene familiar. Xinn couldn't help laughing out loud. He and Alonzo seemed like Rose and Jack in Titanic. The only difference was their endings.

Xinn put down his arms and held the arms that were embracing his waist.

He would never let his ending become tragic.

Snowie headed north, they flew north for a whole day and slowly deviated directions along the way. When they passed by a dessert. Xinn and Alonzo protected the Snow Bird from the intense heat and also handed Snowie some cold drinks to hydrate itself.

Snowie is not supposed to be used as a traveling mount, but since his foolish husband swallowed the valuable eagle, they don't have any choice but to use Snowie.

Honestly, Snowie is a better bird than that eagle. At least, Snowbirds are easier to tame.

Gradually, the horizon of the vast desert land showed a vague image of an ocean. The whole family landed on the seashore and looked at the beautiful green sea. 

Indeed, the color of the water is a clear light green.

Alonzo suddenly spoke, " This green ocean was the ocean our ancestors previously resided in, but now it had become the green-scaled merfolk's territory.  "

" Merfolk? " Xinn's lips twitch. 

" Doesn't that scream of danger? " Xinn smiled.

Alonzo's face suddenly froze.

Merfolks are aggressive and extremely territorial.

Before the couple could even continue talking. A large wave of seawater suddenly drenched them.

Xinn, Alonzo, Shawn, Valen, and Caelan slowly turned their heads in the seashore's direction. All of their faces exude a dark aura belonging to that of a pissed-off person.

The space on the seashore suddenly distorted; a large wave was sent back in the merfolks' direction.

Xinn immediately handed Dylan to Alonzo's arms and ran towards the merfolks.

" Don't you know that what I hate the most is drinking salty water!!!!!!!!! "
