Chapter 3

Xinn turned to look at the boulder where the pestle and mortar were located and noticed some familiar fruits in there. Xinn turned to look back at the monstrously giant python, then slowly pointed his index finger to the banana peel and apple seed.

Alonzo followed the direction of his finger and noticed the remains of the fruit that he had made into puree earlier.

" You want to eat those fruits? But you need a big amount of food to replenish your energy though. "

Alonzo felt worried for the female; although those fruits can indeed help the female temporarily resolve his hunger, it's not a good regular diet. The female may get a bad stomach if he continues to eat those sweet things.

But since his female said he wants to eat those, Alonzo doesn't have any choice but to fulfill his wish. Alonzo rubbed his head on the female's cheeks and hissed with his forked tongue saying that he should obediently stay inside the cave as there are several dangerous animals outside.

Xinn then watched as the giant python slithered out of the cave with its tail swaying left and right within his vision. Xinn subconsciously touched his wet cheeks that were touched by the snake's forked tongue and felt weirded out.

Why did he feel like he was being kept, and also, what's with that snake's pampering attitude as if he was a delicate woman?

Xinn turned to look at the nest of eggs on the ground, then at the dead bird next to it. The snake caught these things for him to eat?

Isn't it supposed to be the other way around? He was supposed to be the one feeding the snake, not him.

Xinn tiredly rested his body on the fur sheet and massaged his aching temple. There are a lot of unanswered questions within his head but no one can answer them for him.

Such as, how the hell did he end up here. Xinn then decided to check the sky outside. He slowly sat up, then picked up his sword from the ground. He used the tip of the sword as his cane. He walked with its assistance and slowly made himself outside of the cave.

He slowly pushed the stone sealing the cave and peeked outside. When he looked up at the sky, his eyes widened in shock when he saw a curved line across the sky.

It is as if there's a ring surrounding the whole planet, like the planets Saturn and Uranus.

What the hell? When did Earth possess planetary ring protection?

Xinn took a step back in shock as he stared up above the sky. What happened to earth when he was assassinated?

How come Earth suddenly has a ring around it?

Or... Is this earth?

Is he no longer on earth?

Before he could digest the information, he learned. A shadow suddenly loomed over the sky. Xinn immediately looked up and his eyes widened in disbelief when he saw a gigantic monster passing by.

It looks like a dragonfly, but its size is a million times bigger than the modern insect. How the hell did that insect mutate to such a big degree.

Had he unknowingly traversed into a world of the stone age?

Xinn touched his aching chest and stumbled. It was already distressing enough to have threatening zombies around human civilization, but who would have thought that it would be replaced by giant mutated monsters?

Had he known he would traverse, he definitely would have chosen to stay in his previous world. He would rather choose to fight zombies than fight off these monstrous dinosaur-sized beings.

Suddenly, the giant dragonfly paused. Xinn squinted his eyes at the monster and suddenly noticed someone at the top of it. An outline of a human. Xinn stood up properly and narrowed his eyes again to take a look carefully.

Then suddenly, the dragonfly flew down in his direction.

Xinn immediately tightened his hold on his ancient sword.

When the dragonfly landed on the ground, it created a strong gale of wind that brushed through Xinn's body. Only then did Xinn remember that he was naked. He immediately summoned a new t-shirt from his space and immediately wore it.

Xinn turned to look at the top of the dragonfly and suddenly noticed a red-haired man standing on top of it.

He was tall and towering, probably a head taller than him. Xinn couldn't believe that he would meet someone taller than him to such a degree. He wondered whether people in this world were many times bigger and taller than the things in his world.

The man suddenly hopped down from the giant dragonfly and ran towards him. Xinn widened his eyes and immediately swung his sword and split the boulder beside him before suddenly spinning and kicking the boulder towards the man.

The man was shocked when the boulder suddenly split and flew towards him.

When Xinn did that, he coughed out blood and stared at the red-haired man vigilantly. He pointed his sword at him and shouted.

" Stay away!!! "

The man stopped and stared incredulously at the bloody female at the entrance to the cave.

The man stopped and stared foolishly at the boulder beside the female. How did the female do that? Originally, he was excited to spot a female when he was patrolling the dangerous forest. Yet who would have thought that the female would be so hostile against him? He couldn't understand, aren't females supposed to be delighted when a Beastman came to rescue them?

Moreover ... Why is the female wounded?

The man avoided the boulder and looked speechlessly at how big the boulder was.

The man hesitantly stared at the female, then gulped. This female is no ordinary person.

" You're injured, do you want to come with me? "

Xinn could not understand what he was talking about. Xinn could speak three languages, but he couldn't understand this man's language.

The man seems to have noticed that Xinn was unable to understand his language and immediately gestured with his hands.

He pointed at his wound and then showed a thumbs up asking if he was ok.

Xinn frowned, then nodded. The man then gestured to his back, then gestured to a sleeping posture. The man meant if he wanted to go with him and take a rest at his place.

Xinn hesitated, the man in front of him was a stranger, and because he had just experienced being attacked by his friend. He no longer easily gives his trust to a human. The man in front of him looked intimidating, and Xinn suspected whether this man had an ulterior motive for selling him as a sex slave in his place.

Judging from the man's clothing, it seems that the civilization of the humans here is still in a primitive stage. Xinn was afraid that they would have some strange cultures there that he couldn't bear. What if there are cannibals?

Xinn immediately frowned and shook his head in refusal.

The man took a step forward and wanted to pull the female to his mount, but suddenly. A huge shadow suddenly loomed over them.

The red-haired man immediately looked up and saw a giant green python staring at him with its slit golden eyes. The python has his body straight up while his mid part is in an S-curve, ready to attack him while hissing his forked tongue menacingly at the red-haired man.

" What is a red tiger doing here seducing my female? " The giant python spoke and slithered close to him.

Ralph growled in his throat and glared at the python. " That female is mine. "

The python immediately hissed in return and suddenly flicked his tail to attack the red-haired man. Ralph was hit by the tail and flew back to the body of the giant dragonfly. The dragonfly immediately flew away in surprise. Ralph groaned and glared at Python.

" The female is mine to take, you snake. How dare you injured such a precious female. "

Alonzo hissed loudly and bared his fangs to the tiger as he shouted. " I rescued that female, can't you smell my scent on him?! How dare you covet what's mine!!! "

Ralph gritted his teeth as he responded. " Then let the female choose between us. "

Xinn curiously looked at them. The red-haired man was talking some nonsense he couldn't understand while the snake was hissing at the man. He somehow felt that they were talking to each other. It's impossible! How can two different species understand each other?

Xinn was confused, especially when a deep threatening growl was produced by the red-haired man. It sounded like a warning from an apex predator.

How did that man make that sound? Does he have the ability to mimic an animal's sound to warn the animals?

Wow, that's so cool.

Alonzo noticed the sparkle within the eyes of his female and immediately slapped his tail at a nearby tree in frustration.

This foolish tiger dared to seduce his female!

Suddenly, the giant python disappeared. Xinn looked at the place where the python was previously and widened his eyes in shock when he saw a tall and slender man with long green hair cascading down to his waist. He was naked and his lower part was covered with clusters of green snake scales.

What Xinn attracted the most was the man's long legs.

Ooh, lala.

Such long legs, if the modern people witnessed this, they would surely grovel and kneel unto the ground to worship such long and slender yet powerful legs.

However, he was shocked to witness such a scenario where the snake suddenly transformed into a handsome man. A green-haired beauty at that.

So, that python was never a snake all along, but a demon that could transform into a human.

If that's the case, is this some kind of magical world where animals could transform into humans?

That's unbelievable!

Alonzo worriedly looked at his female, scared that his female would feel disgusted towards his body, which is not as manly as the four-legged beasts. Then he suddenly noticed his female looking at his private part.

Poof!

Alonzo's face immediately turned scarlet and turn his face to the side.

What's going on? Why is his female staring at his legs?

Xinn sighed in relief, so that snake that had been tending to his wounds wasn't some kind of perverted mutated animal. Xinn wiped his bloody lips and sat on the ground to breathe properly.

Ralph walked towards Alonzo and coldly said. " Let's fight and the one who wins will be the one who gets to own the female ."

Xinn lifted his face, and frowned, why does he feel like these two are competing about something?

Xinn looked at the weirdly, then slowly stood up with the help of his sword.

He then bowed in thanks to the green-haired man, then turned his body in the other direction. These two peculiar men, he doesn't plan on following them. They were so aggressive and he couldn't even understand their language. He better leave them alone and let them fight to death.

He is still wounded and joining their fight would only worsen his situation. He couldn't get himself to feel safe whenever the two were around.

Before the two men could fight each other. They suddenly noticed the female walking away from them.

" Uhmm, hey! " Ralph called out and ignored the hissing snake.

Alonzo also turned to look at his female and saw him picking some fruits at the side while walking away as he ate. Only then did he remember that his female was still hungry. He glared at the tiger for delaying his female's meal and immediately ran towards his female's side.

Ralph was so frustrated and he immediately followed after him and was even faster than the snake when they ran.

" Hmmm? " Xinn turned to look behind him and saw two tall men running towards him.

It was kind of weird for him when he saw them running naked. Well, they were not entirely naked, but their upper bodies were exposed to the air, so they were basically naked to him who was already used to seeing people covered with clothes. The red-haired man on the other hand is only clad in a leather skirt covering the waist area.
