Finally meeting a Cultivator

Trevor then started walking back to his room. Now, there were more people walking around the bottom floors of the palace, being workers and all. They paid no heed to Trevor as they simply thought that he was another worker just like them.

They all carried on with their business.

Thinking, Trevor sent a message to Lannan and Ferdinand to see if they needed anything. After getting no reply in 20 seconds, he turned if off and teleported to his room to shower and start cultivating.

Trevor was sitting on his mat in the empty room once more. Currently, he barely had any spirit stones left, only 14 medium and some small ones.

Losing a good 300 Medium spirit stones saddened Trevor greatly, tis however the cost of a solid foundation with no proper resources.

However now, Trevor had 4 energy fruit, 8 Qi Condensation cores and a Foundation Establishment core.

Along side this, he had a plethora of different herbs that were of some use to his cultivation.

Any healing ones that he unfortunately picked up, which was most of them, were thrown back into the bag later on.

"Wait, I actually need those."

Trevor then took them out and ate all of them. Soon, a refreshing feeling filled his entire body, especially his arms and chest that were kicked by the beast.

"Hey Alice, how far do you think I can get in the body refining realm with these resources?"

Trevor was overjoyed by this. This stuff was so much better than those trashy spirit stones.

In truth, spirit stones contain vast amounts of energy. Trevor only truly needs around 6 to get into the peak of the second refining, however most of the energy is wasted. He cannot fully absorb even the Qi, let alone the other types of imbued energy.

Trevor immediately started gulping down all of the herbs and then the fruit. The Qi inside his body was growing at a staggering rate.

Elsewhere, Jasmine's eye stared at the wall with no expression, which then turned into extreme horror.

She moved straight into Trevor's room whilst he was eating all of the stuff.

She immediately siphoned all the non-Qi energy out of him, because if she didn't, the massive overflow of energy would erupt and destroy him.

Trevor himself felt something was off. The seemingly boundless energy his body was constantly refining into him was being sucked off.

Confused, Trevor tried to close his 9 spiritual holes to stop the leakage, only to find that they were still fully open.

He tried as hard as he could to operate them too close but they wouldn't.

Jasmine on the other hand was unbelievably annoyed. This idiot was trying to kill himself.

After realising that he couldn't do anything, he tried to quickly refine all of the energy inside of him before it spilt out.

To his shock, the speed actually didn't slow down at all.

Although still bewildered, he didn't ponder too much on the fact and started to reach for the second fruit.

"Enough. Stop your cultivation."

Flabbergasted, Trevor immediately stood up and pulled out the new sword he just got, and swung right behind him. His instinct to fight was instantly ignited due to his Sword Dao chaos heart.

Jasmine was surprised by the great speed of reaction from Trevor. Nevertheless, she still grabbed the sword and crushed it into dust.

Stunned, Trevor tried to run away, only to be stuck in place, as if he was in a block of cement, but in air.

Trevor feared for the worst.

"Come on man. My cool journey has just started and I'm already dead. I didn't even get to enjoy the fruits of any labour yet."

The next second he was thrown straight into the ground. Knowing that he could do nothing, he lay there silently sending a goodbye message to his grandparents.

"Hey, what are you doing."

Trevor swung his head around to see what kind of goddess could have such a pleasant voice.

Jasmine stood there with a small kind smile on her face whilst looking down at Trevor.

He was immediately enraptured by her beauty, but quickly came to a realisation about his rudeness.

"cough cough cough...Sorry for that."

Jasmine looked at him weirdly, that wasn't even a proper cough sound. You literally just said cough.

As if knowing what Jasmine was saying, Trevor transformed from the white caucasian man he was into a strawberry.

"Well never mind. Anyway, you were about to kill yourself with that excess energy. I will be kind to you because of your talent and physique and give you this. This is a manual that will transform all forms of basic energy into Qi."

After quickly throwing a book, Jasmine ripped open the void with her mind and disappeared, however to Trevor, who wasn't powerful enough to see the void being torn open just saw her teleport away. However, he wasn't too concerned as anybody could do so.

He forgot someone has to touch a button though.

Trevor then thought back to her beautiful words and remembered saying that he would die. Shivering, he thanked Jasmine profusely, as if thinking she were still there, and opened the new book.

Trevor sat for a good long time before he finally read through and understood the book to an intermediate level. Trevor tried to do as the instructions told him whilst absorbing the ambient energy, only to feel a weak stream enter his body.

Unsatisfied, he pulled out a Medium spirit stone and started absorbing it. He was stunned as a strong flow of Qi entered his body. Though it was only around twice as strong as a normal one, it was far greater. Whilst repeating the operation that the book told him, Trevor slowly got used to the technique with his incredible talent and cognisance, being able to refine ten times the amount he could do previously.

Trevor was very pleased with his results.

Only if he knew he only absorbed ten percent of the stone.

Nevertheless, he didn't know as of yet, so it doesn't matter.

He then started refining another fruit. He immediately broke through to the third refining, causing him immense pain, at least double from the second refinement. This time, the fruit immediately pushed him from third to the peak of third refining. At first, Trevor was only able to access and use around 13% of the energy in the fruit, and now he could access close to all of it as he ingested it.

Many rooms away, Jasmine stared at Trevor.

"Quite a good talent. He will probably grow to quite a level with that high level of talent."

She then pulled out the Mana core from the Cockatrice and started rapidly refining it, causing the ball to glow on and off.
