Weekend was a time off for Quin. Her busy day-to-day life made Katty tell her to take a break every weekend. Katty would make sure all Quin's needs were met and all her wishes came true.
Not infrequently Katty and Max took Quin vacation. As strict as they were, the two siblings understood very well that Quin lost her youth a lot. Quin had to study hard and filled her days with the busy schedule that her uncle and aunt had in London.
But when it was time to cook, Katty and Max could not do anything because Aunt Dea and her husband never allowed Quin to do that. According to them, why pay the maids with a big salary if the employer had to intervene in the kitchen. Aunt Dea was the youngest sister of Quin's father. Aunt Dea was a successful doctor and was married to uncle Leo who was also a successful businessman.
"Katty, just once. Aunt Dea is not in Paris. She will not know so I can leave without her knowing. Aunt Jessy will not mind because she is different from Aunt Dea," Quineera pleaded. She always compared her two aunts. Obviously different. Aunt Jessy was the wife of her biological uncle. The method of education in Aunt Jessy's family must be very different from the upbringing of her grandparents.
"I will ask Max first." Again Katty had to discuss with Max but before meeting the man they heard a very firm voice.
"Let her! She's been cooped up in London for a long time. At least give her some time to enjoy her lost time," Max said bluntly but attentively to Quineera.
They didn't realize that their conversation was overheard by Max. "How long have you been there?" Quineera turned and saw Max who was standing straight.
"Since both of you talked without me. But seeing that you were talking, I decided just to listen." Max answered with an expressionless face.
"You eavesdropper!" Quineera was upset but inwardly happy to have Max's support.
"You can go but I will take you there. I won't let you go alone." Max gave an affirmation.
"No need! Luke will pick me up. Uncle Deon will definitely allow it," Quin refused but Max's words could not be refuted.
"I have to keep an eye on you."
Max's answer irritated Quin. "Just now I wanted to praise you because you let me go but now I don't give that compliment. You are very annoying." Quineera immediately left them.
"Let her go without you. You told me to let her enjoy her time?" Katty walked over to Max and patted her brother on the shoulder. There was worry on both of their faces but they couldn't say anything to Quineera.

Luke entered Quineera's house and sat on the sofa. Max, who had been waiting for him, immediately approached. "What is your aim in approaching Miss Quin?" The sudden question that came from Max made Luke frown. Luke didn't recognize who the man he was talking to was but asked the question as if he was a man worth suspecting.
"Max, enough!" Quineera's voice broke the tense atmosphere created by Max.
"I believe Luke is a good person. His father was a good friend of Uncle Deon. Uncle also introduced me to him. Enough with your protective attitude, Max. I'm tired."
Quineera was fed up with being treated like this all the time. Everything should be within the knowledge of Max and Katty. Aunt Dea who asked Max and Katty to oversee all about Quineera. Aunt Dea didn't have a child, which made her very over protective when raising Quineera. Her protective attitude increased when Theresia died by suicide.
"You can go but if there's bad happens, you must call me. My cell phone will always be active 24 hours."
"Yeah," Quineera replied lazily.
Luke was confused by the two people's conversation. Who is Max? That was the question that popped into Luke's mind.
"You're home before eight o'clock at night!" The voice of Katty who just came out of the room was also heard.
"Yes. Both of you are so annoying," Quineera said, annoyed.
Words like that had often been heard from Quineera but Max and Katty never took it to heart. They know very well how Quineera 's true heart was. Quineera was not as tough as others think. Max and Katty often catched Quinn crying alone.
Max and Katty is a gift from Quineera's parents. When Quin was at her lowest these two people were always there for her.
Luke started the car. "We will pick up Geva first. He is shopping at the supermarket," Luke said, breaking the silence. He was still questioning the status of the two who guarded Quineera so much made his presence like suspected criminals.
"Please forgive my assistant's attitude. They are like that because they love me. Actually they are very kind. They just don't want me to end up like my sister." Quineera explained who Max and Katty were.
"It turns out that those two people are your assistants. I guessed they are your siblings but your face and theirs are very different." Luke replied without turning his head. His eyes remained focused on the road.
"I already treat them like my eldest brother and sister. When I was little, mommy and daddy paid for their schooling. Max and Katty are the children of my father's personal bodyguard. Their parents died when I was ten years old. Since then mommy and daddy were responsible for all their needs. Before Mommy and Daddy died, Katty and Max had promised that they would devote themselves to my family. That's the reason the two of them became my personal assistants. For sure, they have their own reasons why they act like that to me."
With his intelligence, Luke nodded and understood Quineera's short story. "Looks like this girl has a lot of wounds," Luke concluded in his heart.
Luke stopped in front of the supermarket. There was already Geva with a trolley filled with her groceries. "You wait in the car! I will help Geva move things into the trunk of the car," Luke said.
Luke got out of the car and walked over to Geva. "Can I go home? I am not close to that girl."
Had not done anything yet but Geva had given up. He really didn't want to be in touch with new people because it made him uncomfortable.
