Chapter Thirty Three: Awkward Situation

Amber's face twisted into a frown when she heard Carter mention Dolph's mate. She didn't want him to ever find his mate. She prayed to the goddess to make him Mateless so she would be his one and only.

She glanced at Carter. She never liked him from the start and he was proving to be an obstacle in her plans.

Carter's lips curled up into a smile when he saw Dolph frozen in his tracks. That was what he wanted, he wanted to feel the fear emanate from inside him and pierce his every core.

He wanted to let Dolph know that, he could find his mate even if he wanted to hide it. Dolph had to remember that.

Dolph didn't say a word, but just stepped outside with Irene still clinging onto him.

Valerie moaned in her bed and turned to the other side. She licked her lips and squeezed her face.

It was morning, she wasn't a morning person.

She brought the covers closer to her head and covered herself completely under it.
