Chapter Sixty One: Our Girl

"What the f*** do you mean?!!" Aiden yelled and Sabrina flinched when she noticed the visible irritation in his tone.

"What do you mean there's nothing you can do?! You haven't even examined him!"

"I-i already have. As soon as I came in, I could smell the wolfsbane and then, I saw him. I instantly knew, I just knew" she stuttered and Aiden scratched his hair in frustration while muttering curse words to himself.

Valerie just continued stroking Dolph's gray coloured fur. Maybe that was where they got their surname, she thought to herself. She could feel the tingles now, they were stronger than before.

But she wasn't afraid.

In fact, she welcomed the feeling with an open mind and continued stroking his fur with so much care

"You're his mate, aren't you?" Sabrina suddenly asked and Valerie nodded.

Sabrina gave a short smile "I can feel the connection between you two. It's peaceful and ethereal, almost makes me weep"
