Chapter Sixty Five: The End

Valerie tiptoed to the door and placed her ear on it, trying desperately to muffle the giggles threatening to burst out of her mouth.

She tiptoed back to the parlor

"Yep! They're still in there" she laughed on the phone and a lady's exasperated voice could be heard

"Damn! Aiden's really proving to be a great dad!"

Valerie giggled "She wouldn't let me do it. She claimed that all the kids at school had their dad's making their hair for them, she didn't want to be an exception"

May sighed "What if Aiden messes up her hair?"

Valerie smiled "Nah! It'll just grow back, that's why I'm not even panicking"

"You really are a tough woman"

"I know"

Valerie was currently on a video call with May.

"So, how's the honeymoon going?"

Valerie suddenly asked and May rolled her eyes "Seriously babe, don't ask, he's been whining like a baby and fawning all over me since we got here!"

Valerie giggled "It's Love May, take it like that"
