Chapter Forty Two: Friendly Foes

Valerie looked shocked.

Fiancee?!

She wasn't expecting that

Amber turned to her "And you, hanging around with every man that comes your way! What are you doing with my man?!"

"Enough Amber!"

"No! I will fight for what is mine! And I don't care how I'm going to do it, but I will. I won't sit back and watch you get taken from me by a filthy woman that doesn't know her place!" Amber yelled and moved closer to Valerie, grabbing her arm

"Ouch!"

Valerie winced in pain and Dolph's heart raced when he he heard her. He immediately shoved Amber aside and held Valerie's hand

"Are you okay?"

"Yea, I'm fine" Valerie answered and gently took her hand away from his. She didn't want to make the situation more awkward.

Amber fell on the ground and her expression immediately turned to shock.

Dolph pushed her! For some human?! She couldn't believe it

"Valerie, don't listen to whatever she says, it's not what you think" Dolph tried to explain but Valerie shook her head
