HIS PAST

Andrew frowned. He'd always smoke when he remembers the past, gets frustrated or in discomfort. He didn't want Arabella to be disappointed in him so he hid the fact that he sometimes smoked so he couldn't help but get angry seeing she was in his room and he has been caught after seven years of keeping this away from her.

" No,  I just inhale smoke and exhale it, what the fuck does it look like to you? " He said curtly, trying not to meet her gaze.

" You tried to hide it from me...why? " She said with a sad grimace.

" Damn you, No! " He replied harshly. Then puts the cigarette back into his mouth. " What are you even doing in my room? "

He said something expressive and obscene; Nova's lips fell open and she gaped at him. She'd never heard him use language like that.

She was twenty-five, and Andrew was thirty-two, but he'd always been worlds ahead of her in maturity so she was astonished when he used such a word.
