First, a Drunk, knife-welding Redhead, now an emotionless Ramen-loving little girl, what next a cat girl Falling from the sky.
It didn't take long before the two made it to their destination. Instead of going to the High-end restaurants, the girl instead went to a Ramen shop on a corner of an alleyway.
If you didn't specifically look for it you wouldn't have known it was there. The blonde was going to step inside but stopped and turned to Ekko.
" Commandment one: Thou shall not speak, so don't talk unless the chef asks you what topping you want."
Commandment two: Quickly order your meal so if anyone is behind you they don't have to wait long, so buy your ticket and go to your seat.
And finally Commandment number three: Respect the owner's rules and wait patiently for your food."
'So many strict rules, the other shops weren't like that, but I also did see more tourists around that area so maybe that's why.' Ekko nodded at her and she entered with him following behind.
' Wow, So many different choices, but what should I pick, that Miso one looks nice but so does that Karaoke one. I guess I'll just go with the Karaoke, the Miso, and the Akamaru. That's 4100 yen altogether.'
Ekko got his tickets and sat down beside His new companion. She sat on her chair patiently while reading a book.
Ekko being Ekko just started humming to himself in his head. He hadn't noticed that he was humming for real, Koizumi glanced at him for a second before returning back to her book.
Ekko felt Koizumi's stare and looked back but she had already turned around. He was about to say something but their food had already arrived." This looks really good, well let's dig into the Miso first then."
Breaking his chopsticks, he thanked the chef for the food and slurped the ramen up.
{Sluuuuurp, Sluuurp, Sluuuurp}
Ekko froze the moment the noodles mixed with the broth entered his mouth" This, texture, this taste, the springiness of the noodles plus the rich umami flavors, combined with that salty-sweet richness...This...this is the best ramen I've ever had."
Ekko felt like shedding tears, he wanted to thank his quiet friend for showing him this place but remembered Commandment Number One: Thou shall not speak, so don't talk unless the chef asks you what topping you want.
So he was just going to give her a thumbs up but paused when he saw her looking through her pockets and bag for something. This was the first time he had seen another emotion on her face besides boredom.
Koizumi had always had a tradition of tying her hair back with her favorite black polka-dot Hair tie, but when she reached for it in their usual spot she couldn't find it.' Did I leave it at home?'
Just as she was thinking a hand stretched out in front of her face.
"Huh?" Confused she looked at Ekko who was offering her his bandana as a replacement for her hair tye. She hesitated for a moment before grabbing it from his hands and tying her hair back in a practiced motion.
Ekko then went right back to eating and Koizumi did the same with no less enthusiasm than Ekko, if not more so. Slowly her mechanical face started to blush before she started to smile while drinking the broth of the noodles.
"Haaaaa." The two let out big sighs of satisfaction. Koizumi grabbed a napkin and offered Ekko one which he took, with thanks.
Ekko ate his other two ramen which was both equally as delicious as the Miso one and Koizumi ordered a second portion for herself.
Ekko also took a photo of the two eating but Koizumi was too distracted with her ramen to notice. He was going to post this onto pinstagram later.
After the two finished their meal they thanked the chef for the food and walked out of the Store." Man that was some good Ramen, you were right ramen really is great, I take back whatever I said previously... I guess I'll be seeing you around Blondy, thanks for bringing me here."
Just when Ekko was about to leave he felt a tug on his jumper. Looking back he saw the blonde holding it.
"...Koizumi, my name is Koizumi." Ekko blinked... then blinked again, before laughing out loud." HAHAHA, I see, so your name isn't blonde but Koizumi, that's a pretty name for a pretty girl. How about we exchange numbers Koizumi-San."
{Back step}
Koizumi just looked at him like he had bad intentions with what he said." Wait don't misunderstand. I'm just asking because I want to ask you about any shop recommendations in the future, and if there are any ramen shops that I find good ill forward them to you."
Koizumi found the request logical and accepted, the two exchanged numbers before they parted ways.
While ekko was walking away however he couldn't help but wonder who Koizumi really was. While he was walking with Koizumi he had noticed twenty people following around the two, or more specifically, Koizumi.
They were like bodyguards, no he was almost certain they were her bodyguards.
Ekko only thought about it for a little while before making his way back home. He still had to visit the market and Buy himself a nice kotatsu for winter.
Meanwhile with Koizumi San was walking on the streets reading her book when a Mat black armored Rolls Royce pulled up beside her.
A man in a butler's attire then came out of the driver's seat and opened the back door for her." I've come to pick you up, Young miss."
Koizumi nodded and entered the luxury car. The butler then shut the door and drove off followed by other five-range rovers.
Koizumi put her book away to grab another from her bag but paused when she saw Ekkos bandana in her bag. She had forgotten to return it to him after the meal.

Ekko made his way back home, but as he was, he noticed a certain flyer stuck to the wall. It was a missing poster for somebody's cat.
"Missing: Mr. Chubbers has been missing for 7 days, if you find him, please call this number, thank you."
