Chapter 37 - Surprised and Amazed

Chapter 37 - Surprised and Amazed

After detaching from themselves a long while later, Maxmillan said with happiness in his tone, "Mom, let's get out of here."

Although he had numerous questions to ask, but that wouldn't take place underground. He wanted to get to the surface first before he would unleash the barrage of questions that brewed within his mind at his mother.

"Okay." Lenna said and nodded her head.

She also had lots of questions that she wanted to ask and get answers to, which she would surely unleash at him once they reach the surface, which included the massive sword in his hand, what really happened to Lukka, the numerous outlawed users of Astra Mystralis that worked here, and their boss who was an Astra Spellcraft Lord. To beat such a person required a stronger Astra Spellcraft Lord. And to kill him, required an immensely powerful one, one that is many times more powerful and is enlightened about the realm of magic far beyond comparison.

As she thought this, she suddenly recalled something and said immediately, "Maxie, there are some items that I would like to show you. Although I don't know if you can use it, but you could take it with you and add to your collections. Because from what I have seen and heard so far about the numerous feats that you pulled in the city's garage when looking for me down to here, I have come to an understanding that you have numerous weapons with you which you can pull out of a space that only you can see and gain complete access to. As for the items, I came across them when the vicious madman that operated this place, teleported me out of the cage I was incarcerated in to his personal underground room."

"So, maybe the items could be useful to you too. I would love for you to have it."

Maxmillan looked at his mom and shook his head in awe at her comprehensive power. Without having told her anything yet, she already understood some stuffs about him.

'My mom is really intelligent.' Maxmillan said within himself.

So, without denying or disproving anything that Lenna said, he said with a bright smile in her face, "Alright mom, show me the place where the item is located."

"Alright. Follow me. But I do hope I can find my way to the place, as it's the underground room of the savage evil lord that operated this place. It could be magically concealed that people who don't work here won't be able to find." Lenna said and began to find the place, also using magic to boost her vision so that she can locate small, hidden wall buttons that would reveal the room to her.

An hour later as they tried to look for the place, they finally across a certain room.

"This should be the room. Since every other place within the far depths of the ground have been blasted open by you." Lenna said, while Maxmillan nodded his head in understanding.

He then looked at the wooden door to the room in front of him and tried to push it open. But he saw that the door was locked.

"Since it's made of wood, I should be able to knock it down." Maxmillan said determinedly, while Lenna who didn't know how he was really going to do that, nodded her head and walked to a side to give Maxmillan space to do what he wanted.

Once his mother had given him the bit of space he needed to operate, Maxmillan clenched his hand into a fist and sent it straight at the door.

Bang!

His fist which carried a weight of one ton, struck the door really hard and caused numerous crack to immediately appear on the surface of the thick wooden door.

Bang!

He struck at the door again with his fist which immediately caused more cracks to appear on the surface of the wooden door.

Bang!

As soon as he sent out his fist for the third time, the thick wooden door which had developed numerous cracks on its surface, immediately exploded into many wooden splinters that littered the ground.

Once Maxmillan achieved that, he immediately walked into the room with Lenna following directly behind him with an amazed expression in her face. She was still trying to process where her son got the kind of strength and marveling physical abilities that he currently possessed.

Suddenly, they came across a table with a shiny resplendent orb seated on it. Also, there was a long blue feather plume that seated right next to the orb on the table and caused numerous patterns to appear in the air around it. Then lastly, a thick silver spear that glowed in bright silvery light and radiated an unseen aura of incredible sharpness, such that it caused the air around it and the earth beneath it to constantly slash, gash and rent apart, could be seen standing with its spearhead facing down and seeming like a thin magical pillar at a corner of the room.

"Amazing!" Maxmillan and Lenna both said with light of deep astonishment shining within their wondrously gleaming eyes.

"Mom, these items should improve your skills and take you from being an average caster of Astra Mystralis to possibly a Commander-level user of Astra Mystralis." Maxmillan said while Lenna shook her head in defiance.

"Son, take the items. I have no need for them. No magical item can increase my talent at magic casting. So, I would rather you have it and keep it with you till you discover a good use for it, even if it doesn't follow our patterns of magic casting. Okay?" Lenna said and asked, while Maxmillan nodded his head in understanding.

He then consulted the Transmigrator Survival System by asking within himself, 'Transmigrator Survival System, could you please spatially move the items in here for dimensional storing? But firstly, what are they?'

Then the Transmigrator Survival System replied in form of system messages and notification alerts that appeared in the holographic screen in his vision.

[System Notification!]

——————————————————————

[Accessing eviscerated memory...]

[Items found in the room have been identified to be: {1} Dreamcasting Great Terrifier Orb — can induce infinitely-long, nightmarish dream-like visions upon having its light shine in one's eyes; {2} Magical Painting Plume — can draw countless inky patterns and ink-like objects in the air and cause them to solidly materialize into real objects; {3) Silver Summoner Spear of Might and Dominance — a rare magical item that can pierce through most magical armors and magical shields and can increase the attacking power of a caster/user of Astra Mystralis to tremendous levels such that they can wreak absolute destruction in large-scale, epic magical battles. Also, it imbues them with a terrifying and massively choking, baleful savage aura that resembles bright red blood that swirls around their figures and can enormously frighten numerous challengers or cause serious mind damages to adversarial opponents.

Move discovered items for Dimensional Storing?

<Yes>/<No>

——————————————————————

'Yes.' Maxmillan uttered within himself with a seriously amazed expression in his face.

Then immediately, an unseen spatial transference power immediately enveloped the whole place and pulled the targeted items into an unknown dimension.

Once this spectacle occurred, Lenna looked at Maxmillan with another look of great shock in her face, as she couldn't understand where her son got the kinds of power that he used from. But she was really happy and satisfied and enormously hoped that the power and abilities that he possessed, stayed with him for eternity.

"Mom, we can leave now, right?" Maxmillan who saw the shock in his mother's face, asked with a slight grin.

"Yes we can, son." Lenna nodded her head after recollecting her greatly dazzled mind.

Then together, they left the underground tunnel that they had appeared in after leaving the Sky Bridges Lord's room.
