(AN: I think the rewards are appropriate right? I mean he did spend a cure-all pill which is a literal treasure so I thought the rewards are appropriate for him. Tell me your opinions, and also thank you to 'Zaphkiel_DG' for the inspiration😊

[Quest: A Goddess In Need!

Objective: Cure Goddess Hephaestus's deformation in her right eye.

Rewards: Divine Smith Mastery, Divine Fire, and 1x Mastery Upgrade ticket.

Failure: None

Time limit: None]

'Huh? A hidden quest?! That's a thing?!' Kazuya thought as he suddenly heard the system's notification. He was still embracing Hephaestus who was still crying.

'Whatever, although the rewards I got cannot be compared to the cure-all pill I used, I guess it suffices' He thought and shook his head. Hephaestus cried for a few minutes before stopping.

"How...long are you going to embrace me?" Kazuya who was in deep thought heard a sudden voice. He got out of his thought and realized that he was still embracing Hephaestus.

Quickly, he released her from his embrace and got a little flustered. "Ah...Um, I'm sorry Hephaestus-sama for embracing you like that without permission" He desperately tried to explain, after all, he just embraced a woman who was not even his lover.

"Chuckle*, Don't worry, I'm not angry in fact I have to thank you. My emotions got the better of me since you comforted me as well as cure my right eye" Hephaestus said gratefully while giving Kazuya a dazzling smile. A genuine smile from a goddess.

He got a bit dazed, like the idiot he is. "Ah don't worry about that, Hephaestus-sama. I'm just glad your right eye is cured now." He said after getting out of his dazed state.

"Hehe, you don't have to lie. Such a pill is surely an extremely precious treasure, right? But I wonder why you use it on me that easily?"

Kazuya awkwardly scratches the back of his head, while smiling like an idiot, "Well...there are some reasons but mostly it was because I can understand your situation..." 'Since I went through something similar to it, and I like you too, that's why...' He thought the last part in his mind.

"Well, you don't have to worry about it, I got that pill easily so no worry. But if you want to repay me, then please smile more" He said, and it was true since he just got lucky to get the cure-all pill in the gacha.

While he said the latter part as just something he randomly thought of. But it seems Hephaestus took it seriously as she nodded.

"Then, I'm leaving first okay? Bye-bye, Hephaestus-sama" Kazuya waved his hand and was about to leave the door when he heard her voice.

"Drop the, -sama part. Just call me by my name and don't formally talk to me. Talk to me more casually from now on." She said

Kazuya turned his head and saw her with a small blush on her face. He smiled in return, "I see then see you later, Hephaestus" After saying his farewell, Kazuya then left the office.

Unfortunately, he didn't see the dazzling smile that appeared once again on Hephaestus's beautiful face.

Now Kazuya was walking towards the workshop of the familia, while on the way he asked some questions to the system.

'System, can you explain what are my rewards?'

And for the host's last reward, you can use it to upgrade any of your masteries up to the next level. For an example of host decided to upgrade his martial arts mastery which is currently at the grandmaster level, if you use your last reward, the mastery of your martial art will be upgraded onto the Legendary Master level of mastery.]

'I understand now. Seems like the rewards are generous huh. With my new Mastery in Forging, I can possibly create divine weapons, right? Is it possible system?'

[It is host but the chances are low. Instead, System suggest that you practice your control over the Divine Fire since it can greatly help host whether in battle or forging]

Kazuya nodded, 'You're right but I need to do some maintenance for my equiment

With that thought, he went onto a free forging room to repair his equipment and sword too. After he was done there, he directly went inside his training space and trained to control the Divine Fire he got.
