Chapter 5

She opened her eyes to a delicately decorated ceiling, she looked at her surroundings; it seemed to be the same room she was in before. It looked like her childhood room, lavish with vibrant colors and luxurious furniture.

Unlike the first time when she opened her eyes, she wasn't alone, a woman had wrapped her hands around hers, filling her heart with warmth. And there was also a couple of maids snoozing off against the wall.

However, her headache was still there, even worse than before.

As if sensing her waking up, the beautiful lady holding her hand started to wake up.

"huh?" it took her a moment to realize what's happening, before her melodic voice sounded softly again. "sweetheart, you are awake! You are finally awake!"

'mother...?'

"quick, go call his majesty! He ought to be present. Summon a doctor to check on my poor sweetie, too." she ordered the maids who had just jolted awake by her sweet voice.

The little girl watched the maids scrambling away to fulfill the task they're given.

" sweetie, are you alright? Do you feel pain anywhere? Tell mother if you are hurt, alright? "

The girl subconsciously touched her head, still perplexed by her surroundings. Tears rolled down her cheeks at the sight of a long-lost memory.

"your head? Do you have a headache?does it hurt you a lot? " the woman touched her forehead with the back of her hand. "you do have a fever—

"mother!" she threw herself at the woman, hugging her neck tightly. "mother. Don't, *sob*,... don't go.*hic *...Please don't leave me."

"oh!" The lady was both surprised and worried by her daughter's sudden actions. "it's alright, mother is here. It was just a bad dream, you are safe now. Mother is with you."

"father will come soon, too. It's alright, now, everything is alright." She hugged her tightly, caressing her hair. "Let's wait for the doctor to come and run a check up. Will that be okay?"

Amourora didn't understand everything that the woman said, but her soothing voice made her heart feel much better. The more she cried, the worse her headache became, until she couldn't stand it anymore. Still, she held on to the lady's warm embrace and didn't ever want to let her go.

She felt as if she loosened her arms, even a little, she would loose everything and wake up from this wonderful dream. If she had to wake up tomorrow, then she would like to hold on to this dream a little longer, just a little bit more time.

"sw... rt? Are...right? ...ry the d..." a nervous voice buzzed in the background.

Closing her heavy eyelids, and leaning on her mother's warm embrace, she tried to make sense of everything that has happened so far. It seems that she had truly traveled back in time.

She came back to the time she was still an eight year old...with an ancient treasure. Well, she didn't have the treasure yet, her mother gave it to her on her death bed, but she needs to find a way to get ahold of it, she has a feeling it will be of great help to her in the future.
