Immediately, Kankei turned to Astrid and asked.

"When did it happen!? When exactly did the metal slab blocking off your entrance appear."

Pausing for a moment, Astrid thought before replying.

"Right after I came down...or when that voice spoke."

Rubbing his head and scratching his hair, Kazuki muttered.

"That voice...it was the robber, right? He was the one."

Everyone nodded their heads in unison, but two figures remained outwardly stressed and anxiously glanced around.

Lily and Ruby.

Both of them knew the true identity of the robbers, so they knew...that voice couldn't have been Ren.

Lily, calmly considering that the voice could have been a part of Ren's distraction to escape the vault, looked around for any signs of Ren.

This was an enormous problem.

If that voice truly was someone else who was not associated with Ren, that meant there was another figure in this underground space.
