Ch.38: 6 Headed Snake.

"Yeah. Behind this door is death. Let's go back.." Kazemi said while standing in front of two wooden doors on a huge, white wall. Tory was standing next to him, looking all around it as he talked.

"Go back? But what can we do? You've absorbed every monster in this place. You...are at peak performance as you are now.." She said to him. He groaned out from how right she was then came to a sigh.

"I hate that you're right. But like you said Tory, I've absorbed every monster in this place. Their instincts, my instincts, our feelings are telling us to fold on this one. What...are we going to do?"

He wouldn't even consider this an option and would have easily ran away in the past but now, he'd consider it for...unknown reasons. "Hmm.." She said while putting her hand on her chin.

"If your instincts are telling you to run, then it's probably a good sign. But then again, whatevers behind this door must be extremely strong. So tell me Kazemi, would you rather stay out here when overwhelming power is just a few feet away?"

She wasn't trying to sound like she was deceiving him but it just came off as that. She knew his quest for power and thought that this would greatly help it. "You have a way with words, Tory..." A small smile formed on his face.

"Let's go in together?"

He held his hand out and she took it with a smile. "Of course, Kazemi. I'll go anywhere with you.." Kazemi kissed her forehead at that and opened the door. He was then met with magic power could make anyone but him and Tory faint.

They both then appeared in a huge, white room. The ceiling couldn't be seen because it was so high and the walls were barely recognizable as well. "100th floor. 100th boss. What will it be?" He questioned outloud.

Just then, a giant, purple magic circle appeared on the ground. 'Holy shit. T-This thing is gonna be huge...' As the bright figure continued to expand and grow bigger, sweat began to form on Kazemi's and Tory's face.

'6..' He counted the long, black thick objects that formed. '6...heads..?' The dust teleported away to reveal 6, silver heads, the species being serpents. Tory stopped sweating and even laughed. 'The hell?'

Turns out, snakes were her favorite animal and so no matter how big they were, they weren't frightening in the least. "Tory. Do you uh...do you want to fight this one?" Kazemi said with a slight frown.

While he was shaking, she was laughing. "I-I'm sorry, Kazemi, it's just that snakes are too cute.." She whipped her tears of laughter away and became serious once again. 'Cute, my ass. Snakes are the devils spawn...'

He undid his swords while chains floated behind Tory, via her magnet magic. The 6 headed serpents gave out a deep, but quite roar, each of them seeming sleepy. 'Mocking us, huh? I see..' He sent out two sickles of concentrated lighting at them, only for it to do no damage to its thick shell.

'Fine! I have a better idea..' He then told Tory to lay off for a second. She complied, readying her magic for any moment. Kazemi started running into the sky and it wasn't soon until he stood over the middle snakes, head.

'Let's see if you can take the force of 50 tons..' He put all his strength into the sword then dropped them on the head of the middle snake. Upon contact with the swords, its head exploded, the swords going 30 meters deep into the ground before stopping.

'One down, 5 more...to go?' The head regenerated as he slowly floated down, getting death stares from each head. 'Great. One had a healing factor and can heal all the heads, huh?' He went into the 30 meter crater and got his corrected stats and swords back.

"Tory. This one...yeah, this ain't it.." He couldn't get too close to the thing as it started radiating some sort of aura that'll kill him if gets too close. 'My new level of magic won't really help me here as well...ish..' As he was thinking that, one of the heads opened their mouths.

'Its gathering...' Red/orange began to circulate until a huge ball of fire was shown. 'A tremendous amount of magic power..' Tory then did the same with a blue magic orb like the one she made against the golem. It seemed more refined and even bigger.

"Kazemi! Stand back!" She ordered him and he hastily listened. The serpent released the ball of red at Kazemi who then began to run away. Tory released the blue energy at the fireball and they soon connected.

Each ball of power was trying to overwhelm the other. 'Thanks for giving me such a chance, Tory..' By using invisibility and a clone, he was able to make it seem like he was running away when in reality, he only got closer to hydra.

'It had a strong barrier of magic that won't allow for physical contact..' He stood at the perfect distance away from the 7 meter thick aura it produced. 'That being said however, I wonder if it'll be enough for me to break through with decay..'

Just then, 4 other serpents opened their mouth to reveal different colored balls. 'Damn it!' Tory and Kazemi both thought. They quickly released the balls of element at her to which Kazemi appeared in front of Tory.

"Listen. I'm gonna give you half of magic to increase your speed and power, okay? I'll get through its barrier, touch it, and steal its stats, okay?" He put his hand back to touch her chest, implanting his magic in her at a slow but quick rate.

"B-but can you take all the power it has at once?! Your body needs time to adjust first, right?!" She retaliated with concern. She was indeed right. His body needs to build itself over and over at a moderate speed to take power in.

If he were to take in all that power at once, he would definitely explode. "I have a plan so don't worry, Tory. It'll...it'll all work out, I promise.." He finished giving her half his magic. They would both then make huge walls of thick marble that blocked the attacks of the serpants,...barely.

"Just...be careful, Kazemi.." She placed her hand onto his back in which he nodded. "I..will.." He was a beast when it came to fighting. Playing dirty, getting into your head, he'd do it all. But now, he had something to protect.

He couldn't risk doing selfish moves that usually result in bad outcomes for himself and the people around him. 'Tory. I'll protect you. And I'll do it in the right way..' Breaking the ground beneath him, he flew into the air.

The hydras then focused on him, leaving one to stare at Tory. What the hydras saw was a blurr breaking the air around them, going faster and faster. 'I'm able to do two new things now that I'm at stage 3. One, I can cover my body in a decay like aura and so physical things that touch me will be turned to dust. Second, I can use my decay like a sort of anti magic, allowing me to break down magic basically..'

If he touched the barrier of magic that surrounded the beast then he could potentially be able to decay it, leaving Kazemi's attack to get through. 'My swords were able to get through because they just woken, I think. Luck is all that was. They actually probably put the barrier up because I did such a thing..'

The hydras tried attacking Kazemi with beams of elements to which they just barely missed him. 'If I mess this up then I could die. But I won't die. I'll make sure of it. I'll see Tory again and we'll continue our journey together...'

He stopped running and now stood ok the roof above the hydra. Before it could look up at him, he already had his swords out, using every skill he had and putting it on the swords. 'Let's grow old together, Tory. Sounds fun, right?'

Making his arms cross like an X, he jumped down as the monster now looked at him. They then shot out multiple beams of magic to which he dodged by barely slipping past them. 'My ultimate attack, 'Distraction!' He launched all the skills he collected at the monster.

Wind Sickle, Lightning, Water whip, fear inducement, Sonic Boom, everything. Upon hitting the layer that protected the hydra, it all disappeared into nothingness, an event he knew would happen. He then put his hand out and spammed decay.

He came into contract with an invisible force while spamming and cracks in the air instanly showed. 'A few more...' They noticed his plan and started gather magic.

Tory however didn't allow this to happen though as she made several huge balls around herself which was sent out at the heads.

'I'm still here..' She smirked. Kazemi thanked her while he continued trying to break through. The heads were conflicted. On one hand, someone was trying to get throught its barrier. On the other, it was being attacked by phenomenal magic power.

It then had the thought of, 'If the guy gets through, he still won't be able to do anything. Our skin is the hardest material in the entire abyss..' They noticed he was almost out of magic power which lead them to think that.

'And that woman,...she still has loads of it left. And her attacks actually hurt..' And so, it began attacking at Tory. When Kazemi saw this, he slowly began fearing for the worse. 'Then hurry, Kazemi! Hurry!' He grabbed at the air and wripped nothingness away.

What happened next was him falling down. He was now inside the layer of protection it had and was heading for its silver, scaly skin. The hydra still focused on Tory who was barely holding her own.

'Imma be honest and say that I don't have a plan. I'll just have to regenerate faster than my body destroys itself..' He landed on its huge body and began extracting the power it held.

He was immediately met with a heart attack but it soon stopped. 'If you get this power then you'll be unstoppable, Kazemi. And you'll be able to protect Tory! Think about the long haul!' He could feel his muscles and organs fighting to grow accustomed to this power.

The pain was equivalent to having needles go under your nails while being shot. 'It'll make a man go crazy, but I'm not an average guy..' He didn't know how he survived such things.

Tory was then hit away and flew into a wall. 'Damn it...' She groaned out. 'Even after all the training I did,...it still wasn't enough..' While she knew she had no chance of winning, she just hoped she lasted longer.

'Kazemi, I...I'm sorry~..' She started crying as she realized that he's never seen her at her peak but only at her lowest. 'You always save me...and...and..I can never return the favor..' As the serpant was about to send out another barrage of attacks, it realized it couldn't.

It also realized it was very weaker and so, it started stammering. 'Huh..' She looked up with a bloodied face and saw someone floating above the 6 headed figure.

"I'm sorry, Tory. I let you get hurt.."

Kazemi floated down until he placed his hand upon one of the heads. When he did, it turned to dust and flew into the wind. "Its sort of hard to use these powers.." He appeared next to her which made her jump a bit. 'F-Fast..'

[Health: ???]

[Strength: 250,000]

[Speed: 920mph.]

[Defense: 200,000]

[Magic: ???]

[Skills: 60+]

"Are you okay, Tory?" He helped her up to which she gladly let him do. "Y-Yeah.." She said in a low voice. "Then don't cry, okay? It makes me sad when I see you like this.." It makes him feel like he wasn't strong enough.

That she still had to worry even when he's around. "N-No, these are because of me. I..I can't live up to my own expectations and I hate that.." She looked away from his gaze. "O-Oh, I see. Then continue crying, Tory. Keep telling yourself how weak you are."

He picked her up completely and began walking. She knew that he didn't mean those words in a bad way. It was more of on the lines of, 'It builds character'. "I'll always be a shoulder for you to cry on, Tory. Always.."

He kissed her forehead and when he did, he began losing consciousness. 'Wait, not yet.. not...yet..' He caught himself and looked up at the sky, his expression darkened. "Kazemi...?"

He didn't answer. "K-Kazemi!" He didn't answer again which made bad thoughts enter her head. She then got out of his embrace and put his head down. He had his eyes closed, but she could also feel his breath.

"You...passed out while standing up...?" A long and harsh struggle between being on the brink of death and reviving had occurred to him. Kazemi's body was still being destroyed but he didn't want to show it to Tory.

"Idiot.." She bit her lip while holding his face.

"Idiot~..."
