Transmigrated as the Second Male Lead's Twin Brother [BL Harem]

My younger sister was an avid reader of romance novels. On her birthday, she begged me to read a novel named, "The Dark Catastrophe: The Holy Saintess Saves the World." What I didn't expect was that after reading the novel, I would get hit by a truck and die! When I woke up, I found out that I transmigrated as the second male lead's younger twin brother, Cash Reran! Cash was the second-born son of Duke Reran. To make matters worse, Cash Reran has a terminal illness and was fated to die in the first chapter of the novel! Although he was only mentioned during the first sentence of the novel, he played a very crucial role. He was the sole reason for the novel to exist because the novel plot only began after Cash dies from a mysterious illness. After being transmigrated a year before the novel's main plot, I decided to be a lazy bum and watch things from the sidelines. During my observations, I found out the villainess is a shy and misunderstood girl while the heroine is actually a green tea bitch. Furthermore, how come I didn't even do anything yet the main characters of the novel are always following me wanting my attention!? It seems like I somehow changed the novel's genre from straight romance to BL!!! [Short Chapters]

"Big brother! Big brother! Wake up!" My sister yelled. She then proceeded to lift my black blankets and I yanked them back.

"No! Go away!" I yelled, still half asleep.

"It's already 2 in the afternoon! Why are you still sleeping!?"

I groaned.

"I stayed up all night to review my case. Go away..."

I don't know how she did it, but she somehow managed to princess carry me to the living room and place me on the couch. I was now staring stupidly at the tv screen, trying to comprehend how I got there.

"Did you buy me a present big brother?" My sister inquired.

"Yeah, it's in my first drawer," I responded, still a little sleepy.

After a few seconds, I heard a loud squeal.

"Omg! Omg! I love you big brother!" Amira yelled as she ran from my room to hug me tightly.

I chucked.

"You have to read after I do! Please!" Amira said as she gave me puppy dog eyes.

I sighed.

"Alright then kiddo," I said as I ruffled her soft brown hair.

"Thank you!" Amira exclaimed as she smiled brightly at me.

After a few hours, Amira came out of her room to hand me the novel.

"Did you like it?" I inquired.

She nodded and said, "I loved it! The second male lead was so dreamy! Thank god this novel was a reverse harem or else I might kill the author!"

"What do you mean Amira?" I asked.

She gasped at me.

"You don't know what second male lead syndrome is? Your poor soul." She said with astonishment.

Seeing my confused expression, she explained, "Second male lead syndrome is when you like the second male lead more than the first male lead."

"Oh, I understand now. Just so you know, I never experienced that before. I've always loved the first male leads, after all, why would the writer make the first male lead the first male lead if the writer didn't want the viewers to love him?"

Amira just looked at me like I was stupid and walked away.

I sighed and looked down at the novel.

It was a black novel and the title was printed with fancy gold letters. On the cover was a picture of a girl with long curly brown hair. She had her eyes closed and her two hands were clasped together in a prayer. Golden light was emitted from her hands and she seemed to be basked in holy light.

I decided to read the novel and after I did, I decided to walk to the bakery to get a birth cake for my sister.

After getting a strawberry birthday cake, I began to walk home.

As I stepped on the crosswalk, I saw a truck coming straight towards me!

'Was it just my imagination or was the driver smirking at me?' I thought.

With that thought, I was crushed by the truck. The large truck sent me flying a few meters until I hit the concrete floor harshly. It knocked the air out of me, and I found myself gasping for air. I felt a warm sticky substance coming from underneath me and I was startled to find out it was blood.

As my vision grew darker, I heard the sounds of sirens in the distance.

Just as the paramedics arrived, I took my last breath and welcomed the darkness.
