Having A Bad Day

*Knock* *Knock*

Camden: "Come in" I said as the door of my apartment opened and it revealed Genos carrying what seems to be a lot of mail with him. I paused my game using my Psychic magic and laid the controller that I was using on my sleeping mattress as I turned my attention toward the Human Cyborg

Genos: "I received a lot of mail when I arrived at the Hero Association Headquarters. And some of them were for you Sensei" He said as he walked towards the table that we used for eating, and laid the mail on it

Camden: "Really?"

Genos: "Hai" He said as he sat down in front of the table

Genos: "And also, you have been promoted to B-class rank 10" He said, making me surprised. That's about a 41 jump up from where I was previously. It's still very inconsistent, like I disintegrated a fricking dragon-level threat meteor, which only bumps me about 20 places higher in the ranks. Well, there were other S-class heroes there so that may have affected it quite a bit, but still only 20?... I'm being salty right now. And then there's the recent commotion about the Seafolk. I defeated two of them, one of which was a demon Level threat, Deep Sea King. Though

the threat level was lower, It's still a huge accomplishment for a B-class. And fortunately, or unfortunately. Only one S-class hero was present, and it was Genos. So probably after delivering the final blow to Deep Sea King. They ranked me higher probably because of the lack of S-class heroes. Only a few A-class ones came to try to kill DSK, but they were utterly destroyed. The Seafolk arrived probably around noon, and it took until nighttime to finish the last of the Seafolk off. Which I was responsible for... Well me and Genos, but I was given a very nice rank up. So at least that's something to celebrate to

Camden: "Where did these mails come from anyways?" I said, though I have some speculation on my head right now

Genos: "One of the Staff in the Hero Association that gave it to me said they were from fans"

Camden: "Oh" I said. Shit, I don't have time to be reading mails. Maybe 1 or 2 but that's all. My fans? I don't believe it. I appreciate the mails that have been specifically sent to me, except for the bad ones. I'll throw them in the trash. And as for the complimentary ones, I'll keep them for storage. Which I don't have anymore since I live in an apartment that has barely enough size for both me and Genos to be able to live on without having to deal with anything. Of course, not in the closet since I already have something they're to keep piling up. I guess my fan base has now started its journey. A journey that I am not looking forward to at the moment. Though maybe in the future it will get better, I don't know. I just don't want to deal with random stuff until Boros arrives and blah blah blah

Camden: "Hey Genos, could you put all of this mail for me somewhere else. I'm kind of busy with something else here, I'm gonna read them later"

Genos: "Hai Sensei" He said as he stood up and grabbed all of the mail with just one of his cyborg hands as he started to look around the apartment for a place he could put all the mail in

After a while, I just continued playing some games until Genos came back. I noticed that he doesn't have the mails anymore

Camden: "Where'd you put it?"

Genos: "In the storage room"

Camden: "We have a storage room?"

Genos: "I made one"

"..."

*Ring* *Ring*

I wild ringtone could be heard as Genos pulled his flip phone out of his pocket

Genos: "The Hero Association needs me again, Sensei" He said as I nodded at him as he left with a bow

Camden: "Now enough distractions. Time for more gaming that I deserve!".

Lily: "Fubuki-sama. The B-class hero, Skywalker, has just been moved up to rank 10th in the B-class" She said to her, making Fubuki a little surprised as to what she said

Fubuki: "Thank you for the information, Lily" She said to her as Lily nodded her head and left Fubuki's room 'Maybe I'll finally pay him a visit' She thought. She didn't expect him to rank up that fast. Fubuki intended to wait until a certain event to happen to be able to speak to him since she has some speculation on what really is going on. Fubuki needed some answers... And some rest apparently

Fubuki: "On second thought, there won't be any more dangerous monsters appearing until Boros arrives. So there's no reason for me to go to him for now since the only thing left that he will do is go and kill Boros. At least that's my hypothesis of all of this" She said to herself, glad that she doesn't need to meet him and... Use her charm or whatever is up her sleeve to question him and hopefully get some answers that she needs. Fubuki doesn't know why she's so obsessed with figuring out the reasons behind the man. Maybe because she doesn't have anything else to do and so she decided to waste her time investigating... Just kidding.

*Knock* *Knock*

A knock just occurred as I paused the game and looked directly at the entrance of my apartment

Camden: "There is no way Genos is back. He just left like a moment ago" I said as I put down the controller and went to check on my door. Who dares approach the home of the Demi-God and expects to leave unscathed. Thou shall not escape from the blade that could kill Omnipotent beings

Camden: "Who's there?" I said as no one answered. I asked again, no one responded as I heaved the door open. There was no one there except for a letter on the ground in front of me. I decided to pick it up and I immediately noticed some writings on the front of the damn thing. Once I saw the word "Dojo" I immediately knew who was responsible for this sudden disturbance

Camden: "That old man? Gah! Why is today such a bad day for me? First, I got new powers that are complicated. Second, fan mail raided my home. And this!" I complained out loud. Good thing no one was anywhere near me to hear my complaints about some stupid and random stuff

Camden: "*Sigh* Oh fine. I'll meet you in your stupid Dojo, you old geezer. Wait let me see something" I said as I reread the letter again. As I read the letter from top to bottom the second time, It says at the end to meet him there about a week from now

Camden: "Goddammit. Well no gaming for me this week since I want to train my stupid eye powers"

[Hey! Did I just hear you call my reward for you stupid?!]

An angry Chiaki shouted in my head as sweat marks were covered all over my face

Camden: "NO! You must be deaf Chiaki! I did not say such things to your beautiful and magnificent creations for me to have as a gift from you. They are one of a kind!" I said, getting a nervous chuckle out of me as I eagerly waited for her response. Hoping she chooses the good response

[Oh is that so? Well I'm sorry for blaming you, User.]

She said as I let out a heavy sigh 'Good golly miss molly'

Camden: "It's fine" I said as I entered back to my apartment and decided to think of the decisions I made that led me to that moment. Which I definitely regretted doing 'You know what they say, an apple in my mouth is good'
