Chapter 23: Chijin

Chijin, who wasn't aware by the situations occuring on the shards and Claire's conflict, he was struggling with his own problem when he went to Thalotian.

"You really won't die huh!" An unknown man is talking to Chijin in cloak while being in a deserted land "Pnevma...Hah! Haha, No wonder the heavens punished you" he said to Chijin while he kept silent, but then, his eyes looked angry and fierce but he still kept his cool down, suddenly the unknown man attacked him using a double spear going for his head while shouting words "I REALLY LIKE PEOPLE WHO COME FOR ME FOR REVENGE BECAUSE I ALWAYS TURN THE TABLES ON EM".

While he was going for an attack, Chijin removed his cloak and effortlessly avoided his attack, while the unknown guy made a big blow on the ground because he missed it on Chijin, then the unknown guy suddenly thought 'You might be someone important from the past but now, I can defeat you like a pest' he said to himself confidently, he was very confident that he will be able to defeat him, then he went to Chijin's arms and made a strong punch, he could not avoid it and took the attack but then, he used his other hand and summoned golden chains going for a counter attack to the unknown guy, the unknown guy sensed it and avoided it quickly, suddenly, Chijin was already behind him and said to him "that attack...was it all you have?" The unknown guy was offended while hearing it but what surprised him the most is how he was able to quickly go to his back and was unscathed, his attack did not made a single scratch on him, and suddenly, Chijin for a big punch on his back, it made the unknown guy flew onto the ground and Chijin even made a one last attack by using his foot to stomp on his back again, making him spit out blood on his mouth.

Chijin went far away from him and looked at him while the guy was trembling and slowly stood up while having blood on his mouth, Chijin who looked so serious said another word to him that offended him again "You're wasting my time" The unknown guy's eyes went wide open and roared in anger while showing a large amount of aura, the whole place was full of mist and suddenly, Chijin was attacked again on his left hand but now, it was actually successful, his hand broked, resulting it to many blood dropping from his left hand, the unknown guy got confident again and smiled "I shattered your hands this time"

"Bold of you to assume that it broke" he showed his hands to him while it was healing itself, "I-Impossible" he was shocked to what he was seeing and it angered him again but then, he realized, he cannot move, it made him feel weird, until he saw Golden chains restraining him, he wanted to get out of it but his energy was all out and it was because of the chains.

"Pnevma...I thought the heavens sealed your powers" he said while having a horrifying face, implying that he was afraid now, "I guess I'm lucky enough to get my powers back" suddenly, he went in front of him quickly and made a strong punch at his stomach that made him spit more blood, "This is for making eral suffer" he made so many punches all around his body and he made one final blow on his face while his all body was covered in blood "and this is for annihilating my whole spirit realm" suddenly, he put a chain inside the guy's chest and surrounded his heart, "Wait- if you kill me, the consequences will be-"

"I know" Chijin cut off his word by instantly replying to him, still the guy shouted as if he was pleading for his life not to kill him, but if Chijin also kill him, something worse might also happen...

"CHIJIN PNEVMA, IF YOU KILL ME, HE MIGHT ASK FOR WAR-" then, all of the sudden, Chijin activated the chains he put on the guy's heart and he wasn't able to finish his last statement, the guy fell down on his knees while his eyes was still wide open but he was already dead, Chijin replied to the dead guy "I don't care anymore if he ask for war, I hate wasting my time on worthless people" he looked at his dead body while his eyes glowing like an emerald gem and looked so fierce, he turned his back and left that place because he is returning back to Wald City.

When Chijin was returning to Wald City,

Ril, Jiro, Lilian, Claire, and Clarisse also returned to Wald City, but what they saw shocked them, the whole city was full of dark aura and human corpses, the road and buildings were full of blood, it made them question what was happening. The whole city was embarked with darkness, there were no humans to be seen, it felt as if it was a ghost City.

What kind of fate has been brought upon these youngsters, so many secrets yet to be unveiled, hidden identities are still haven't revealed.

What consequences will they meet in the future?

I too would like to know the next part of their adventure, but now is not the time yet, you are still not ready for the following stories of their lives, so....
