Divine Radiance Realm, Yuan Clan

On a certain day, a boy was born in one of the top clans of the Divine Radiance Realm. He was from the Yuan family, and he was named Ling Tian. In a certain room of a palace, there was a middle-aged couple together with a newborn boy and a female doctor. The doctor said to the father and mother after checking the boy's health,

"Congratulations, Patriarch Yuan and Miss Yuan. The boy is a once-in-a-lifetime genius with his Divine Physique of the War God as well as his special Soul. But it's strange…I can't see which type of soul constitution it is."

Miss Yuan then said after hearing everything, "Sigh, it's all good as long as my son is in good condition."

On the other hand, Patriarch Yuan was laughing so loudly that the whole palace was shaking. 

Just as he was about to say something about the child, Miss Yuan gave him a death stare and said, "Stop laughing, or are you trying to kill our son? He is just a newborn; he can't handle your pressure just yet."

It was fortunate that Miss Yuan was shielding the newborn baby with her cultivation base; otherwise, this might have been his last day after just being born. 

Patriarch Yuan then embarrassedly said, "Cough, I was just so excited about getting a good son that I couldn't control myself."

Just as the three people were chatting, the boy opened his eyes and the first thing he saw was a beautiful woman with a head full of silver hair and black eyes. He blinked his confused eyes and panicked,

'Huh?? What?? What happened to me?? Where am I?? Who are these people??? Why are they staring at me like this?'

He was startled to awake in such a strange situation.

"I remember I was struck by thunder and then…then…AGHHHH-"

"Waaah-waaah."

The baby started crying. All the people in the room looked at him and smiled at how energetic the child was. After crying for a while, the baby stopped crying and closed his eyes as if he fell asleep.

'What happened to me? I remember I died from that thunder. I'm pretty sure of that guess. Is this my dream or have I truly been reincarnated?'

After getting out of his chaotic state of mind, Ling Tian started to muse to himself. After a while, he began looking around him and saw a handsome middle-aged man who looked around 30.

'These two must be my mother and father.'

He got emotional thinking about it because he didn't have a family in his past life and lived alone after getting out of the orphanage.

'What are these guys talking about? Why can't I understand anything?'

He started wondering about many things while his mother and father discussed his future. And that's how began the journey of Yuan Ling Tian in the Divine Radiance Realm.

It had been five years, and Ling Tian had grown up to be a genius of his clan. He was so talented that even the ancestors of the Yuan clan praised him highly for his talent in cultivation. He was already a golden immortal at the mere age of five.

One day, he was reading different books in the library of the clan. It was then he stumbled upon different professions of the world, for example:

Alchemist - who makes different pills with the myriad of herbs and heavenly treasures of the world.

Blacksmith - who can make world-defying treasures with the metals and heavenly treasures of the world.

Array Master - array masters use the energy of heaven and earth together with their qi to make different arrays mid-battle. These arrays could be made super-fast with merely heaven and earth qi, but the drawback was that they were mostly one-time-use arrays.

Formation Masters - These cultivators use heavenly treasures as well as different refined treasure flags, plates, poles, etc., to make a formation. The might of a formation is absolutely above an array, but it also takes much more time and resources to make them. However, the formation can last for a long time, and if it is maintained regularly, then it can last forever.

Talisman Master - It is a type of one-time use item that can be used even by low-level cultivators to invoke heaven-defying might. Talisman masters create them on paper with ink and write their Dao inscriptions on them

Beast Tamers - These cultivators tame beasts and nurture them together to prove their Dao, After taming a beast they create a sub-space in their sea of consciousness to place the beast there. It is the ideal place of cultivation for them, as it helps them in cultivation and growing the bond between both cultivator and beast.

Spirit Chef- They cook food with herbs, natural treasures, or beast meat. The food has a better effect on a cultivator's body than raw materials such as herbs, meat, etc. It can't be compared to the efficiency and effects of pills but there are no impurities in spirit food.

And many other professions which are not as mainstream as these.

After Ling Tian found out about the many professions of the Divine Realm, he wanted to try learning them as well. So, he headed towards the clan patriarch's room to discuss it with his father.

Knock, knock.

He knocked on the door of the study, and his father's voice came out of it.

"Come in, Tian'er."

Ling Tian opened the door and greeted his father, "Greetings, Father."

He bowed while greeting his father and began looking around afterward to see a few clan elders who were smiling at him. After all, no one was stupid enough to not show respect to the only son of the clan patriarch, especially after seeing his potential. 

He smiled back at them and walked toward his father, and stood before him at a respectable distance.

His father's smile broadened seeing him, and he got up from his seat, hugged his son, and placed him on his lap before saying to others,

"You all can excuse yourselves for now; we will continue this discussion afterward."

No one dared to say anything, and everyone left. They didn't even dare to be dissatisfied with being chased out of the room because the one who entered was the patriarch's son as well as a genius of his own league.

After everyone left, Ling Tian lifted his head and looked at his father, smiling before saying, "I hope I didn't disturb you, Father."

His father lifted his hand and patted his head, while speaking, "How can my dear son disturb me? Now tell me, why are you looking for your father?"

Ling Tian spoke after thinking for a while,

"Father, I have been reading the records from the library, and there have been mentions of Astral Plane and Eternal Plane a lot of times. Each expert who can transcend the Eternal Plane and come here will definitely have great achievements in the future. Where are these planes, and how can one go there? What are the resources like?"

He continued asking questions with a look filled with curiosity as well as wonder. After all, he was a mere mortal, even below the lowest of low cultivators in his previous life. Everything was new and interesting for him.

Ever since he woke up in this Divine Radiance Realm, he had spent a considerable amount of his time reading through the scriptures and scrolls of the library to broaden his horizons. 

Even the older kids may not know as much about the Divine Radiance Realm and the Lower Planes of Existence as him.

Everyone praised him for his diligent character because no one was an idiot here. Everyone knew that knowledge can even save your life sometimes, so all the clan elders encouraged such an act of accumulating knowledge.

He read a lot about Eternal Plane and Astral Plane but never about the universe from which he originated, so he came here today to clear his doubts as well as to ask for permission to learn a side profession. 

He would need a lot of resources if he wanted to learn a side profession, that's why he was asking for permission from his father first.
