Chapter 81: No Knight in Shining Armor
"You made me wait for so long, little one."
Inside the room, Duke Walter Rezian looked at the young girl who was lying on the bed, as if she had been deep asleep.
Her heartbeat was still stable and she wasn't harmed in the slightest, as if the person bringing her here made sure to not hurt her.
With a wide grin on his face, the man walked towards the girl. He brought a handkerchief out of his pocket.
He picked up a small bottle from the table and poured some liquid in his handkerchief.
"Now, it's not fun if you keep sleeping like that." He placed the handkerchief on the girl's nose, making sure not to suffocate her.
The scent of the handkerchief acted like a medicine as the girl slowly started regaining her consciousness.
"Uhmmm..."
Her eyelids fluttered, and as her eyes opened, only to find an ugly face right before her eyes.
