As the lightning descended, a large number of the deep ones failed to escape the punishment from the heavens and were reduced to ashes, leaving only broken limbs and remains.
After a while, Pierce saw the corpses in the pit.
The lightning sura was a level 6 creature. Pierce had asked it to use its full strength to attack, but he did not expect these deep ones to be so weak.
This was completely different from what he had imagined them to be. Or rather, they seemed to be a completely different species! This was going to be a simple thing for Pierce.
After all, the entire mythology of Cthulhu was very chaotic. He really thought too highly of these servants.
At least the deep ones in this invasion seemed to be useless servants with not have much combat power.
From the looks of it, the ones who were really a threat to him were those Great Old Ones.
He only hoped that the final boss this time would not be those gods!
