CHAPTER 8: WE CONQUER!!! WE BUILD!!! WE SURVIVE!!!

as the ground trembled, and the trees shake a large roar near the treeline,

a large(humungous) reptilian figure pointed at the fortress then more and more came out running towards the now panicked defenders,

8 beings similar to it though smaller than him rushed towards the large gate-like door with amphibian-like reptiles much smaller than them riding with their blowpipes and at their backs were a swarm of reptilian lizardmen charging at the unorganized fortress

"CL'OS'E DA DO'UR" then one of the larger gobs that were in front shouted as he was then shot at by one of the 'skinks' that mounted the 'Kroxigor'

but it was too late, as the 'door' was halfway through the 'Kroxigor' sped up as they rammed at the door forcefully that the defenders flew 5 meters from their spots it then ROARED claiming a challenge

then taking this opportunity most of the 'Kroxigor' outside which were half as the other half stayed with the bigger one outside made their way inside as it flooded with all 60 'Chaqua Saurus Spears' claiming the lives of all the gobs inside the fortress with their spears, they STABBED, BASHED, KICKED and PICRCE all that was inside

as the 'Kroxigor' SMASHED, SPLAT, BASHED, and CHOMPPED the gobs while its riders 'Skinks' shot the gobs with their darts with fast-acting posion

while the 12 Cold One Spear-Riders give chase to the other gobs that escaped they trampled upon them like lightning as they were swift and deadly they hunted all that escaped the carnage that had just occurred inside the fortress

As blood and death descended it was truly hell inside the fortress as it wasn't a battle but a massacre, a five-hour-long massacre that annihilated all the gobs upon the northern part of the continent

[Julius POV]

as I then entered the said small 'fortress' it really donned unto me how brutal the lizardmen really are, I mean I don't remember all of the lore about the lizardmen and their background just pieces to make conversation but damn they weren't lying when they say how brutal they truly were I mean they annihilated a whole fortress

'ohh well, what's done is done' I thought as I strolled down what seem to be a primitive 'road' with my weapons hanging on the backside of my waist, and my armor creating small tremors each step I take, seeing the carnage that I cause buildings were burned down or destroyed in the fight (massacre), and bodies were mutilated as they were either cut, bitten, or blown up, I reach the end of the cave where I then saw stairs leading to the mountain part making me hike up and hike up I did.

it took me a whole 5 min to reach the end of the stairs leading me to a now plain opening area of the mountain, it clearly was cut as there was an unnatural for there to be a plain in the middle of the mountain and yep it was unnatural as I then saw 8 buildings an 8 temple to be exactly similar to the Warhammer fantasy games of the lizardman temple-cities, all lined up parallel to one another

I then got inside one of these buildings/temples and to my surprise, there were futuristic pods inside the temple as far as the eye can see with my estimation of exactly 50,000 individuals in each one of these temples, what's more, surprising is how they looked like human-lizardman hybrids they all rested inside a pod stasis sleeping

what a mystery I thought

I then am thinking about what to do next

as I heard a sound in the center of the temples
