That evening was like any random evening a person with unfortunate could have. The thoughts about going to her apartment to see Karen, the broken phone still with her, the care taker of the place brought a letter reminding about the rent and the break up.

Melissa decided to be left alone, she told Leah and Sam that she would be fine alone and she can manage anything for now. She just doesn't fancy the idea of looking to pathetic and crying in someone's arms.

She felt it was because she was too pathetic that Molly decided to toy with her. She should have known love sucks just like how she see people quote on social media. She should have known more when Molly touched her the first time and went ahead to kiss her! She should have built the wall of their friend zone higher.

Walking alone in the street, nothing else could make her feel useful. The thoughts that kept on coming was the one of the devil, telling her to run into a moving vehicle.

While walking she brought out her phone to dial her father's number, feeling grateful he had saved it a day before he left. The thought of calling him for help sound so humiliating for melissa. At least not after all what she had said to him, about been a bad person, about not letting her want to live her life, about not giving her the opportunity that every young person want.

"Hi, this is Nickolas. What do you want?". Her step father's voice sounded intimidating.

She felt let out, like the whole world has forsaken her, including her father. Her mother came to her mind, she wished her mother was alive none of all this would have happened. She was sure she could build a very strong young adult relationship with her.

She tried her father's number again but the same thing came up.

"Hi dad, it's Melissa" She went silent for few seconds "I'm in a mess and I urgently need your help. Please call as soon as you get my message.

She blinked back the burning tears in her eyes, nothing would make her cry again not even Molly.

"How so stupid of me to fall for my fellow girl" She giggled "Omg! I was a fool".

'She ignored curious eyes of strangers. It was obvious she was shouting but why wouldn't some people mind their business?'

She noticed a picture of a sad girl on the wall, without hesitation, she snapped and posted.

Caption: Mood right now!

Unlikely of her, she made sure what ever she posted looked clear, but for this, she didn't.

She noticed a comment "please talk to me, dear" In a moment.

The comment was from a very popular person named with a smiley. She noticed the person had been following her posts for almost a day now and the person refused to follow her or accept her follow request.

The person had so many posts but she couldn't see it until she follows the person or the person follows her.

She waved it off her mind.

She spotted a good looking bar and smirked. In times like that people need help and that was her only help, confirming the last fifteen dollars in her purse, she walked in to drown her last money.

It felt like entering another world! Melissa flinched as the overwhelming noise invaded her right sense of hearing. She was definitely sure she wouldn't be able to hear well by the time she leaves the place.

She walked to the front where she assumed she could buy drinks from. She tiptoe to get her self on the high stool.

She smiled back at the lady she saw, the lady had pink and purple hair, crazy tattoos and piercings. Her outfit was also crazy, her tank top stopped just below her breast and her short few inches under her nice looking butt.

She slapped the fifteen dollars on the table "Give me as much as this can get".

Still mindful of her surrounding, she didn't put her violin and laptop on the table, she kept it on her lap where she felt no one would touch. She became tensed visibly when she noticed people starring at her, feeling paranoid she covered her hair with her scarf.

She muttered 'thanks' as she was given a large cup of beer. Without hesitation, she grabbed it and let the sour taste subdue the urge to cry. Even if she was weak she wouldn't let herself cry in public, at least not in front of paranormal people.

People who made it natural to make out in public, people who looked wicked, people who looked like they would kidnapp any one.

She chuckled as she remembered karen and Williams, at least they do eat their face out in public too

Her phone vibrated, quickly, she unlocked it. Her face frowned at the new social media notifications she had, two new followers and few comments on her previous post.

She had expected to receive a text from Molly, even if that's would be the last time she would ever hear from her.

Even if Molly really wanted them to break up with reasons she would feel better. By that time she would have acknowledged her fault and would not let it happen again.

She wished she could freeze the time when she was seventeen, when she took in so may false vibes about love, about friends, about family and about college.

She felt campus was where a person go and do whatever they like.

If she could freeze time or twice the time, she would delete the day she was born.

Before she could noticed she had almost finished the jar of beer, Feeling high she shurged. Her things came to her mind, she checked and it was just the way she kept them, in her laps.

She gulped it all and the lady brought another smaller jar. She hesitated before giving it to Melissa, her eyes filled with concerned.

"Take it easy girl" she smiled.

First melissa left soft, later angry. She got caught up in a mess she doesn't know if she would come out from because she care about what people's eyes say about them.

Just like Williams who would say something and his eyes explains something else. But for Molly it was different, she didn't feel that love they both shared the night the made marathon love to each other.

"Hey baby girl" a drunk handsome stranger sat beside her "Can I get you a drink?".

"You can see I have already". She replied dryly, non interactively.

The man smiled, he gave the bar attendance money and signaled her to bring two glasses of beer.

"I'm Eric" He clicked his glass lightly with the one he dropped in front of her "What's your name red-head?".

Melissa smirked, gratefully Eric couldn't see her face, the scarf and her red hair covered the side of her face. She felt like the man was trying to make her angry but she was determined to stay peaceful. She looked at the man for a while the removed her gaze still without saying anything.

"It's okay if you don't want to talk" Eric traced his finger on her hand, the one holding her cup "It you have no plans, you can sleep over my place tonight".

"Go fuck yourself" Melissa blurted.

She was getting irritated! If she had not slept over at molly's place she wouldn't have felt to wounded like she was feeling. Well, at least, she discovered not every love story is a romance. Their was no need of thinking about Molly, what she just needed was focusing on what she need to do, and that was HATE MOLLY.

"If I could fuck myself I would have" Eric smiled, he traced his index finger up to the side of her neck and tuck a stray hair behind her ears.

"Get your hands off me Eric!".

Poor Eric, he missed the anger laced in her voice when she warned. With a disgusting smile on his face he drew closer to her.

"I will love to hear moan my name, Red hair".

Without warning, Melissa emptied the glass of beer Eric brought for her on his head.

"Thanks for the drink" she moaned.

From the corner of her eyes, she thought she saw him want to attack her, without thinking, she gulped her remaining beer and smashed the jar on his hear.

"You still want to fuck me? Mr Eric?".

She raised her head to see three men on their feets, they looked dangerous. Fear gripped her, she staggered few steps backwards as she tried to walk. She noticed them walk closer to her.

Holding her head, she prayed she wasn't going to pass out. Faintly, she noticed a brown skin lady talking with the men, she gave them a lot of money.

With a stupid smile on her face, melissa black out.
