“Your good,” the stone-cold face of Gabriella which usually doesn’t show any ounce of emotion cracked with a small smile.
Alvin beamed after receiving the compliment, clearly happy that his grandma acknowledges his effort. He turned to look at his twin and saw him smiling at him and giving raising his thumbs. Kelvin looks like he is complimenting him too for job well done, but Alvin feels like something is off.
“Let’s move on.” But he couldn’t really think of it anymore as Gabriella took his attention back and they went back to the lessons.
She calls it a lesson, but everything she had covered so far is basic about every subject they had gone through in kinder. She said she wants to see how much they’ve learned, and it's not much of a problem for Alvin. Alvin likes learning things, and he remembers them quite well.
The thing is, the kid was a nervous wreck in their first meeting, but now, with the fuel of what his twin said to him last time, he had his balls rolling.
