“No,” Kimber answered without missing a beat.
She looked at Vincent with a ridiculing expression, a face of questioning the sanity of the person she was talking with.
“Why?”
“They have school.” Kimberly simply reasoned out. “And I have my bakery here. I can’t simply abandon this one.”
“Transfer can be done easily,” Vincent raised a brow as if he was stating the obvious. “I have connections.”
Here he was, bragging about his wealth again. Kimberly rolled her eyes and stepped back inside, her shoulder jolted up, shivering. The wind outside the veranda had become strong, she dislikes the cold. She turned to close the door, but Vincent closed it for her.
Kimberly raised an eyebrow in suspicion and shock. She didn’t know this man had a ‘gentleman’ side in him. Then again, it might be something he had developed through time because etiquette is important for people like ‘them’.
