Chapter 86:
----
Vincent did a double take, wondering if he had heard wrong.
But he doesn't need to do that because the colors on Gabriella's face started to drain.
Seeing that, he's back went cold as well.
In the back of his mind, memories of when he 'talked' with his father surfaced.
... All this time, he had contacted him through his mother, or through text.
Vincent didn't think that there was something wrong with it because his father doesn’t generally talk to him. And more often than not, he would just message him or make his secretary relay his messages to him.
His mother deceived him yet again.
Vincent had no idea what to feel.
He felt like he became numb of everything. His mother's betrayal that his twin revealed to him felt nothing. She had done it many times now, and his mind seems to have built up a wall to protect itself from it.
Although that is true, he can't help but feel tired.
